So, here's a crazy idea....

Hey, everyone! I was talking to my friend about the game, and he suggested that I stream it on Twitch or record it and upload it to Youtube. I have to say, the idea is kinda appealing to me. But before I make any decisions or get myself too excited, I have to bring it before you guys.  Here's the deal: my plan would be to record and post raw, unedited footage of our sessions (the screen from a dummy observer account and sound from our Hangout). But this has to be a 100% unanimous thing; if anyone, for any reason, says "no," then we won't do it. And that's completely fine -- as always, your safety, comfort, and fun are my highest priority, and I refuse to sacrifice even one iota of those things just to have something to put up on Youtube.  So I put the question to all of you, your honest  opinion: does this recording idea sound like something fun to you? If you feel uncomfortable voting against it publicly, feel free to let me know via private message.

For me personally I'm fine with recording our sessions. Would make recounting events so much easier. And I rather like the idea of sharing our awesome sessions with the world! :D I'd just like to say, if everyone does agree to the recording, I'd wait till we finish the Mines of Phandelver and start a new adventure before starting to record/stream. Just because it's gonna be weird for people to start watching in the middle of an adventure without having a clue about what happened up until then. Then it would feel more like you're watching from the start of the story and we can write down the Mines of Phandelver adventure as a prologue and make that available for whoever wants to know what happened before the recordings/streams or whatever. By then we'd probably also all be a lot more comfortable with our characters and the rp. But well, all that's of course only if everyone else agrees to this crazy idea of yours :P

I actually happen to have a twitch streaming account, and software already on my computer to record and stream for youtube, twitch, and whatever else we want to post on if you'd like me to handle any of it? As for the not starting until after the Mines of Phandelver, it might still work to start before we finish it, as long as when we start recording, it's a good starting point and we give a general recap.  But if we want to wait, that works too, either way I'm on board.

I very much like the idea of waiting till after the Phandelver content (which, by the way, we still have a lot to cover). RJ, I may very well take you up on that offer, should we decide to do it!

Sure, I say we do a trial run to see if it works for everyone. I need to remember to ddo my deepish orcish voice everytime I try to RP hahaha
