European DM checking interest.

Well as the title says I am gonna see if I can't get another group started. I live in Sweden so thats UTC+1, As for days I can do any day but Saturday really. The games I was thinking about was Shadowrun 5:ed, Runequest 6, Eclipse Phase, L5R 4:ed or a homewritten steampunk world that uses a d100 system. If you are interested post here and we will see what happens.
I am somewhat of a newbie though I am in 2 campaigns for the moment. I am playing with a guy from Sweden so that's not too far a stretch for me eventhough I am gmt +8 (It is the weekends). I have always wanted to play Shadowrun but never found a group yet. What time and day are you looking to set?
Well, I'm a total newb to this, though not to RPGs in general. Since I'm just starting I'd gladly join any game in EU as long as I have a couple of days to prepare and read the player book for a chosen world. :) I'm UTC+2, can play most nights and weekends (any time).
I have no set time or date yet, this is just an interest check for now but if there is interest I will set up another game.
i'd be interested in shadowrun assuming it's not on sunday monday or tuesday evening gmt+1/2(summertime.. stuff) :P

But we shall see I will wait a bit more and see if more say they are interested before I do anything.
im in England so im only a couple hours off from you, i'd love to get an Eclipse phase game going but if you give me time to lean the system i can give any of the other a go. pretty new to RPG's in general but i'm willing to put the time/effort in and i'm available pretty much any time.
Did someone say L5R?! Canadian here(GMT-5), but depending on day I can fanagle and possibly accommodate, particularly during the weekend.
Im in the uk. I've played shadowrun. Interested in learning other systems but no prior experience in the others you've listed.
Hi, I've played in quite a few systems. I like L5R best out of those you listed. I like how you described your GM style. That's the best way to GM if you ask me - let me know if you decide to play.
Hi there, i'm an England player (GMT) who has just got a hold of a copy of Shadowrun 5th, i can do most afternoons except fri, sat, sun (I run my own games then) so if you are looking to run this system i would be interested
You will have me dance like a giddy school girl if you play shadowrun. I will sing your name from the roof tops. Plus side about me, I'm available all the time, I can change my schedule no issue, and I only know 10 words of swedish! :l
Would be interested as well GMT+1 here as well. Playing in a Shadowrun game again would be totally awesome.
Hello Mr. Johnsson, Being from Sweden myself it would be very much appreciated joining campaign played from my own timezone for ones. With a good group any of the listed systems will work for me. If you decide to start another group drop me a line. -- Klas
Wonderful... right then we seem to have a group here. I am very open on system, those where just them I felt like right then. I can run any game really.
Sometimes i kind of feel all alone with my interest with D&D, then a forum post like this brights up my day. Now your game might be full, but if you start a new game or at some point need another player, well you can count on this somewhat lonely European (from Denmark) I tend to play Druid/Rogue (Multiclassing for the most part) Sometimes i add a single bard level into that rogue/druid mix I'm not a skilled Spellcaster, the system in D&D still eludes me even after roughly 11 years of playing D&D. Anyways, if any of you need a player, let me know ^^
Well there is no group started yet, and there is no system decided even if a lot of people seem to want to play Shadowrun.

There is a lot of other systems out there that seem interesting, but my love is for the D&D world <3 Mostly 3.0, 3.5 and Pathfinder... 4th edition and the Next edition seems to.. lacking in material to be interesting enough... But then again, they are VERY new too so that makes sense ;)
Well as you can read on my profile, I hold little love for the D20 system over all since you become more or less a god easily and the game is very easy for munchkins, powergamers and the like to exploit. I hate level progression. I can agree that some of the D&D worlds are nice but most of them does not make sense to me and to use the "magic" explanation for it all kinda makes it loose the charm for me. I like Raveloft and Grayhawk, those are the two D&D worlds I like and I got to admit Planescape was interesting. Forgotten realms or Eberron are not interesting to me at all. I prefer harder games where you do not level up but there is a slower progression and you have to think more as how you will do it and where I can get away from the D20. But I wish you the best luck with finding a D20 game but I can almost promise you that I wont be running one.

To me it's the kind of reward i enjoy when playing such games. But then again, you can, as a GM, slow down the lvl progression as much as you'd like in D&D... But no one would force you to play any D&D game, would they? (rhetorical question) And thanks, i hope i can find a game here at roll 20, but not as easy as i had hoped as most GMs and their games are American... Not euroean :/
I know the pain there, most that I want to play with live in US or AU oh well. But well the issue is also the levels. And I have on occasions been 'forced' to play D&D.
Totally agree with you on Level progression and d20 system. Counldnt have said it better myself.
Mark N. said: Totally agree with you on Level progression and d20 system. Counldnt have said it better myself. Its just a matter of opinion. There are a lot of players that love d20 and levels as well and I can see why but I do not agree.
Hey! My time zone is GMT +2. I would LOVE a game of Shadowrun (though I only skimmed the 5th edition rulebook) or L5R. Available 12:00-21:00 GMT (14:00-23:00 for me) an any day except one of the holydays (GMing my own game once a week, mostly on Saturdays).
