Rogue Specific Ability input - Reliable Talent

My wonderful Rogue has hit level 11, and gets the "reliable talent", where any d20 rolls below a 10 become a 10 for ability checks with proficiency bonus. I currently have this as a "class action" threading onto the required ability rolls, so that it will prompt me to check the number rolled. However, is there any way of automating this? Ie. if (1d20 < 10){1d20=10} I have seen on another thread that this - [[ {1d20+0, 0d0 + 10}kh1 ]] - will do it, but I can't figure out just where I need to put this in order to make it work! Thanks for your help in advance - Mark

I'm afraid I'm not too sure on the differences, or how to find out.... It looks the like the one in the help guide https://wiki.roll20.net/Character_Sheet#Choosing_a... EDIT: sheet version 1.1.4 if that helps

Ok, that's the 5th Edition (Community Contributed) sheet. That's great because I don't think there's a way to do it in either of the other 2 (maybe in Shaped). Go to the Class tab and scroll down to Class Actions . Add an action named Reliable Talent . In the Output, put the following formula with the bold part replaced with the right name (perception, slightofhand, etc): [[ 10 + [[@{ SKILLNAME }]] + [[@{global_check_bonus}]] ]] Check Show output options? to reveal the extra output stuff. Check the skill you've setup in step 3. Now you'll see the extra row when you roll the skill that shows the reliable value:
Brilliant! Do I have to do a new class for each ability? It will apply to 5 or 6 of the ability checks

I'm afraid so. You have to reference the skill adjustments directly so you can't really do a general version. I'd suggest going to the end of the class abilities list to add them. That way, you don't have to scroll past them to get to the things you might otherwise have in there.
Cheers man!

Not familiar with that sheet (I have given it a cursory look for this), but you might be able to use a roll query to reference the skill adjustments. [[?{Skill |Skill1, @{ SKILL1NAME }|Skill2, @{ SKILL2NAME }|...|Skilln,@{ SKILLnName }]] + [[@{global_check_bonus}]] ]] It will then ask you what skill you are using any time you roll an associated skill. If you wanted to cut down on the number of class actions and didn't mind having a query each time, it would work.
I have found that taking a time to make the 5 or 6 class action macros was worth it so you can see the reliable talent as a separate part of the particular roll.
I've done that - just had to remove some of the other class action macros as I have too many! I will just have to remember about Cunning Action, Uncanny Dodge and Evasion rather than having them written down

If you have some skills with the same adjustments, you could double up on those. (all the +3s together, all the +4s together, etc).
