Blind newbie looking to play D&D

Hello all. I'm a newbie (both to D&D and Roll20). I'm looking for a group to play D&D (4th edition) with. Also, I'm blind and I use a screen reader for everything. Is the VTT interface accessible with screen readers? If not, could you point me in the direction of an accessible VTT?

Hi Hunter H., I'm not looking for players right now, but I've worked with several blind users in the past.  The VTT is relatively friendly to Screen Readers.  I know JAWS works pretty well with it.  The biggest issue will be that the graphical portion of the VTT won't be accessible to you, so you will need to rely on other players or the GM to describe what is visible there. I have an interest in the accessibility of Roll20, so please don't hesitate to message me directly if you need any help learning the interface or if you are having specific difficulties that you want to work though outside of an actual game.   I'll send you a private message with my contact information. --The Aaron
I don't know if the text chat portions and visual aspects would be, but the roll20 VTT uses a voice chat that could be useful for you in trying to play D&D on here. With the right people you might find a way to play D&D on here using that voice chat. There are only a couple of other VTT options out there with built in voice chats that could work for you in that way.
You could do a voice game and just have the dm describe the battle and move your token for you. How new to 4e are you, are you able to make a character. I have a 4e game I'm starting on thursdays.
