Frank worked previously as security guard when times were tight and helped run a small family owned herbalist shop. Extended family (who all lived together) were killed in "monster" attack while he was away on a job and he returned to find half eaten body parts of his family. After sorting through body parts, two family members were unaccounted for, his partner and uncle. Were they ghouls? Wolves? Cannibals? Some combination? Who the fuck knows but god help them if they are ever found. Hot on the trail he came across an encampment of goblins who were unceremoniously murdered in their tracks. No traces of his family or their items were found in the encampment and the trail went cold and the missing family and their trail was never found again. When he couldn't find additional clues or ways to track whatever did this down, he lapsed into a depression and got solidly drunk. An old friend of his (Nero) eventually got him to snap out of it as life must go on, if nothing more to afford more food, and he went back to work as security / muscle from there on out. Frank has a passionate hate of non 'normal' creatures, and baring them obtaining permission via a waiver to exist in polite society, is more than happy to recitify the issue of them breathing without a permit. They break the waiver he breaks them. To do list: Finding missing kin (or remains) Murder the shit out of whoever killed and ate family Enforce the laws of the land pertaining to evil shit breathing
I often find myself mimicking the sounds and speech of animals and monstrosities alike, consciously or not. Ecology I take only what is needed to quell threats and subsist. Desiring more invites ruin. (Lawful) My hunter allies are as friend and family to me as my own flesh and blood, and I will never abandon them. Often do I lie about my successes, withholding quantities meant for a client.
Let me know if I correctly understand what Frank is going to do with downtime... 1. Get update from Furies about family being killed. (I'll have information about this for you once I get through updates) 2. Investigate local population centers, the status of leadership with their population, and raise hell with those that are abusive 3. help with brewing stonecure (an extra 2 doses per long rest.. but I'm making this 10 days total, so I'll up that to 3 extra doses) I'll need an Investigation skill check for looking into the local population centers before I provide feedback. Tusk could provide you with advantage... touch base with Jared to see if that's something he'll do with his downtime.

So point 1 and 3 are spot on. Point 2 needs clarification I think. I want to look into the background on different cities / city states on our continent with regards to how the ruling class treats the normal person. Working slaves / downtrodden / for the most part the normal person is OK? Also, are they elected via a democracy? Theocracy? Dictatorship via a group of assholes or a tyrant? Additionally, how big is the city and their military might? Collating all of this into a TPS report, I want to start to set the groundwork for a bigger goal / end game after I'm done murdering the shit out of those who killed and ate my family and kidnapped my wife and uncle, that being possible revolution to the betterment of the city most in need and within my eventual power level. This goal will be acomplished (in this early planning stage without knowing the variables of my eventual target) via uprising, extending the Fury faith via Paladin / Clerics / whoever, conspirators, other faiths believing in the cause and righteous force in order to free the oppressed. I already know of a good candidate for a possible new nobility / official who I'm sure would be great at the job as he's pretty much awesome already. My Furies can be set towards some of this information gathering after the current mission is taken care of as well as establishing and finding new candidates.
ahhh. right on. I can get you a very high-altitude glance of the various nations initially as a starting point. From there, any that stand out to you we can begin focusing closer. #1 and #2 are rather passive by nature, so you've got a free "slot" of activity for the long rest. anything here of interest to you? 1. lend assistance to Rogar in finding an arms dealer. (see Rogar's character thread for more info) 2. lend assitance to Rogar in establishing better defenses for the Cragwood Fortress (see Rogar's character thread for more info) 3. lend assistance to THX in establishing the Church of the All Spark (tusk would need to begin worshipping this god to help) 4. double down on stonecure production (6 instead of 3)... or any other alchemy you'd like to work on? or something new to consider?
If I got free time after poitns 1-3 I would lend assistance in bettering the defenses of our home. If I could be of actual help that is, failing that assisting THX in church buildin'.
we'll default to double-down on stonecure production unless THX or Rogar specifically ask for your assistance.

wishlist: anti scrying trampstamp for me and Tug, divine weapon
I owe frank some rudimentary info about surrounding nations / states... Ref Map: http://filkearney.deviantart.com/art/Eberras-Shatt... ... human lands.... aundair (Old School Wizard Land) breland (industrial magic) karnaath (death metal necroknights) thrane (home sweet home) ... racial territories.... darguun (hobgoblin reservation) droaam (monsterland) eldeen reach (shifters/druids) mror holds (dwarf mountains) Q'barra (sauran jungles) valenar (elf embassy) zilargo (gnomish tek/thailand) .. athasian lands... Kreen Lands (darguun/valenar neighbors) Kurn (q'barra neighbors) Gulg/Nibernay collective (thrane neighbors) Ledo complex (breland neighbors) salt plains (formerly Cyre) Urik/Draj city states (aundair's problem) ... miscellaneous... Llahzaar Principalities (pirate islands) Demon Wastes (no man land of demons) Ether depths (below horizon realms) other than the xenophobia inspired by the athasian lands, only droaam and karnaath have default "likely evil" monikers because of their practical outlook on necromantic magics and willingness to work with intelligent high CR creatures Demon Wastes, Ether depths, Kreen Nation, Salt Plains and Kurn have vast uncharted regions too remote/new/dangerous to have been properly explored. You can pick any of these 20 areas to get more information about them. There's also the planes (inner and outer) which has less-readily available information Aside from the continent of Khorvaire, there are also 5 other continents... Aerenal (Land of Elves) Argonessen (Land of Dragons) Sarlona (Land of Dreams) Xen'Drik (Land of Titans) (these are outside the scope of the current campaign.. but included for completion)

So my thoughts on how this is progressing is from a society standpoint it's wrong for those in charge (or not in charge) to have an entire family murdered in the middle of the night regardless of it being 'sanctioned' or not no matter if they deserved it or not. This is something you would expect from an evil kindgom or ruler, and has no basis in a law abiding society. The methods in which it was carried out lend weight behind this argument. That being said, blaming those who carried it out more so than those who ordered it done, isn't justice either. Keeping that in mind, Frank clearly would eventually want to move up the food chain for a reckoning at some stage. A level 6 Frank with limited resources wouldn't be able to accomplish it at this stage, so it may have to somewhat be placed if not on hold, then at least something that's running in the background a bit. A higher level Frank with backing and more resources would stand a much better chance which leads me to... Karnaath, the land of might makes right. Might makes right isn't a system of government I'm comfortable with any more than I would be with one where strange women lyin' in ponds distributin' swords. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony . Karnaath is ripe for change and I think it's best done, at least initially, from working within the inside. This way when the 'powers that be' start to notice rumbling from the masses, I'll either not be seen as an immediate person of interest, or if I am, it will be that more difficult to silence me. Their yearly Battle Royale™ takes place in a litte over a month. Winner(s) become the new nobility or at least get some sort of title for the next year, and you apparently need some noble to vouch for you to enter. The title you win likely doesn't mean a whole lot in the grand scheme of things but it will at least provide some protection once the shenanigans start. It may even provide resources that could be used for family justice. So the plan is to find a lech of a noble who likes 'em short and frail and roll up looking for an audience. Need a bard who's hung like a horse anyone? After schmoozing via Tug, as we're both Charismatic as fuck , do a bit of work for him to show some competance and dependability and eventually fast talking our way into getting a tap to join in yearly contest. If he / she is on the cupse but not quite sure he's ready to commit to the Murder Machine Frank™, perhaps leads to a historical famously evil weapon might tip them over the edge (whichever of the two that are left that no one wants, which I don't think anyone does). Personally I don't think it'll come to that as we have Charsmia out the arse and Tug has a gigantic cock. If questioned over why a Thrane paladin is lurking about all of a sudden it's quite simple. I don't worship their god as theirs is pretty lame and mine is pretty awesome, oh and they murdered and ate my family, no love lost.
Also, this guy gets it http://oglaf.com/ulric/

Frank said: Also, this guy gets it http://oglaf.com/ulric/ LOL legit. Frank said: If questioned over why a Thrane paladin is lurking about all of a sudden it's quite simple. I don't worship their god as theirs is pretty lame and mine is pretty awesome, oh and they murdered and ate my family, no love lost. That's the problem with Angelic Ties. They can be just as horrible to mortals as demons can. The war between Cyre and Thrane is an interesting mirror. Cyre, a nation dominated by warlocks and dark clerics, serves demonic forces. Thrane, a nation dominated by paladins and radiant clerics, serves angelic forces. BOTH nations use their populations as pawns in an eternal feud between heavens and hells. it's just ... dumb luck .. that cyre got vaped instead of Thrane when Athas merged. Bad luck, really, because cyre had far better relations with Karnaath than Thrane does, and from a metagame perspective; Cyre warlocks aren't very different from athasian templars. clashing personalities aside, Cyre and Athas philosophies are far more complimentary than Thrane. Contrarily, Karnaath philosophy states in all the heavens and hells, nothing is more potent than a mortal soul. Mortals can rise to nearly any height given the proper focus... and if during the climb a soul seeks assistance from a higher being via warlock, paladin, cleric or whatever... congratulation you made the climb-- but as elitists, divine power is ultimately a crutch to be overcome if a mortal is to attain truly legendary status. From their perspective, if a mortal becomes Truly Epic, they will have their pick of afterlife. heaven, hell, valhalla, whatever is of interest. Might Makes Right could be a flawed system, but it doesn't have to be cruel... and the current monarchy is not regarded as cruel even by their own citizen critics. If anything, it's natural order. The Alpha Warrior proves himself as the strongest as often as he is challenged, and has remained such for over 400 years -- in fact, the current Emporer of Karnaath has been challenged 109 times. Here's the Path of Political Ascension 1. Knight (currently 1000+... any rank 2+ can grant knight titles) 2. Baron (currently 60.. 3 per Duke) 3. Duke (currently 20.. 3 per Count and 5 direct to the Emporer) 4. Count (currently 5 direct to the Emporer) 5. Emporer (there can be only one) ... So any citizen can fight for Knight status under any Baron, Duke, Count or even the Emporer himself. Politically, this can be tricky. If you petition a Count to award you Knight status, for instance, you will still need to earn that status during the Night of Might (NoM) against whomever is the Count's Champion... and the Test of Might can be any challenge imaginable from Fight to the Death to flipping a coin. Losing (if not death) means only embarrassment. victory means you become that noble's Vassal; he becomes your Lord.. from there, you/re In the System. the Knight would need to Challenge for ascension to Baron. Your patron Count would grant your Right to Challenge (RtC) during NoM and if victorious, your fealty as a new Baron would switch to the Duke overseeing your new Barony, and you claim the Barony's Vassals. The losing Baron takes the demotion to Knight, and can be retained by the new Baron or switch fealty as a Knight to the challenger's Lord. If one Baron is challenging another Baron for the barony's lands etc. then the losing Baron takes the forsaken barony, and the winning Baron has right to select his Vassals from between both the awarded and forsaken barony. Any noble can abandon their title to become a citizen if they are unhappy with their new assignment, but would need to seek a patron Lord to Challenge for Knight status again and begin the climb anew. Barons can Challenge to take control of a better barony, or can Challenge to ascend to Duke. Dukes can Challenge to take control of a better cuchy or can Challenge to ascend to Count Counts can Challenge to take control of a better countship or can Challenge to ascend to Emporer Here's an example of how RtC works... Knight1, Baron1 and Baron2 wish to Challenge Baron3 Baron3 and Baron4 wish to Challenge Duke1 How do we resolve this? The order of Challenges is the order of hierarchy. Baron Challenges resolve 1st Duke Challenges resolve 2nd etc. A noble defends their position no more than ONCE per year. Baron3 has 3 Challengers-- the highest ranked Challenger has first choice to RtC Since both Baron1 and Baron2 outrank Knight1, Knight1 cannot challenge Baron3 this year. Since both Baron1 and Baron2 are equal rank, their respective Dukes negotiate which Baron will have RtC Any noble that loses a Challenge also loses any RtC themselves for the year. IF Baron3 loses to his challenger, he can no longer Challenge Duke1... Baron4 may Challenge Duke1 A Vassal always has first RtC against their Lord. Baron3 is Duke1's Vassal; Baron4 is Duke2's Vassal. IF Baron3 wins against his challenger, he retains his RtC against Duke1. IF Baron3 loses to Baron2 -- even though he's still a Baron, he lost a Challenge and thus loses RtC vs Duke1. Baron2 did not Challenge Duke1, so Duke1 no longer has to defend his duchy this year. If Baron3 successfully defends his barony, he may continue to Challenge Duke1 but if Baron3 and Baron4 are BOTH Vassals to Duke1, Duke1 may accept only ONE Challenge. It is unjust for Duke1 to decide which vassal he will defend against, so in these instances, Baron3 and Baron4 would appeal to Duke1's Lord to choose who has RtC vs Duke1. No one's authority exceeds the Emporer, but if more than one Count wishes to Challenge the Emporer, there is no higher authority to appeal to In this instance, the remaining Counts must decide which Count to grant RtC vs Emporer. If NO decision can be reached by the deadline for confirming Patronage, all RtC vs Emporer are nullified. The Emporer may directly override any RtC hierarcy other than his own. Timeline Update: 36 days from now is deadline for issuing Challenges (including request for Knighthoods) 46 days from now begins Knight's Challenge 48 days from now begins Baron's Defense 50 days from now begins Duke's Defense 52 days from now begins Count's Defense 54 days from now begins Emporer's Challenge Super Simple, right? you've got 36 days to find ANY noble, Baron or higher, to accept your RtC for becoming a Knight. You'll have Knight's Challenge in 46 days. You'll have a full year after that to find a Baron to challenge and earn Patronage from your Lord. so... this is gonna take 5+ years to legally become Emporer.

5 day to-do list: interview freed prisoners and see who wants to be taught how to fight and become employed in doing so. people who can convert become paladins, those who can't can become fighters (either can be trained by myself) or if anyone feels the inclination to healing people can be sent THX's way. any who don't want to learn to smash stuff can be employed doing farming for ourselves or sent on their own merry way. Train as necessary. Arming can be done with either stock that we have or one of the previous teleport sights that we have access to had loads of armor and weapons if we didn't bring it all back (but I thought we did) Send Layla or whatever her name was and some of the others on a recruitment drive for likely candidates (see above for training). All candidates need to be vetted via detect evil and questioning before they can be brought back to the bat cave (spies not allowed, spies are buried) Get the fast boat painted black so it's nigh undetectable during night flights Put out feelers to trade one of the evil weapons that George isn't converting for something of equal value that I would actually use (2h sword or maul)

Updated long term to do list: Murder the shit out of hell Find 'Houndsman' and kill him Kill his boss Take his place Short term to do list: Create 'mark of fury' branding item for all paladins to use
THX can help with the branding iron. Smithing is something i do.
Figure we need lots of small ones to hand out as party favors and to use while out recruiting. Could use some engraving or something done with my armor, need to represent! Suggestions are welcome.
how about this armor? posted in skype as well frank space marine enchanted armor AC = 22 + shield option (24) Powerful frame allows oversized weapons jump jets 500' per short rest docent communication network access can use warmek or archon docents
Sounds like a plan and a good idea! My AC would be 25 though because of a fighting style in case you were keeping track. Still unsure about the docent thing though. Description says I could use warmek or archon docents, but why would I?
New level abilities 10 Fighter: New fighting style - Dueling +2 dmg if using a weapon in one hand and no other weapons 7 Paladin: More spells and Relentless Avenger - Your supernatural focus helps you close off a foe's retreat. When you hit a creature with an opportunity attack, you can move up to half your speed immediately after the attack and as part of the same reaction. This movement doesn't provoke opportunity attacks.
you need the docent to use the communications. if y9u don't want to contact home easily anymore you don't need one
If you could turn off your love and concern for your families until you finished your work... would you? Or does it fuel your character somehow?
Justice fuels me, so no. Not even in the face of armageddon. Never compromise.

As I believe there's some considerable downtime coming up, this is what I propose to the group I think we should do: Get towns name officially changed to Barter Town and put Tug to run it. Can setup an alchemy lab and tinkering area for him somewhere and start pumping out potions for trade and income. Rebuilding army and a militia that with the same views as ourselves. Redoing and modifying training and tactics as they were found wanting. Training (level up) troops using the undead freezer and letting them kill for xp in a safe and controlled environment. Getting materials and setting up blacksmiths to make giant Tower Shields. Everyone needs Tower shields (e.g. 'body' sized shields) and need to learn shield wall formations especially the Testudo formation (below). This should enable near total cover making it extremely difficult to hit (+75% cover). While everyone should have a weapon, all Athasians should be trained to not use their weapon unless they're murdering hostile Athasians. Psionics all the time, every time, no exceptions. Non Athasians can be added to the formation but would consist of the frontline of the Testudo (wielding a nice long spear or something) Dealing with the security risk that is the giant hole in the former temple that people can fly down in the form of mounted guns ringing the pit. The guns that the giants were lugging around will do nicely for starters (there were at least a dozen all told and we didn't destroy any). These should be maned by more than one guard as they can swap out after using the special ability. Some sort of cover needs to be put into place as well, preferably something that's somewhat difficult to see (cables, razor wire, whatever. Can later smear some Dark Elf octopus shit on it) that can be detracted and extended as is needed. Need to setup patrols. Check timeline on next ship from Honest Henry. Can deviate paths from our patrols to cover area that benefits both Barter Town as well as Cragwar. Also, is Honest Henry or his mates having any pirate problems that have airships? Watch tower tops need covering and more cover given to those in the towers (stone / hardened clay, etc). In addition the towers themselves where ballistas are being shot out of need anti personnel covering as well (can still shoot out ballistas but people shouldn't be able to squeeze through any windows (cables, razor wire, etc). Ambassadors from other nations already in Barter Town! Huzzah! Find paperwork for what they had agreed with Bodak already to see what they were willing to do / not do then get better. Negotiate trade agreements. Crime needs to come to a glaring halt. Taking advantage of market conditions because of a monopoly or to gouge the market for certain products needs to end (rampant capitalism is a no no in regards for food or other items needed to rebuild the city, keep, towers, arm the troops whatever). No oligarchs allowed. Humbly accept the donation of all of Draegoths nobility's wealth and land. Promptly put it to use in getting this absurd list taken care of. Repair the city. Homeless (if any) are housed and put to work (trained in the army, learn a trade, whatever) Food. Burning favors for crops, seeds, food, livestock, whatever is needed to feed the people now and help them become self sufficient. We have an assload of giant exotic pearls that are apparently really expensive which can pay for building materials, raw materials for making shit, food items etc. Getting people started researching a cure for the 'undead' portion of the population. Does Lesser restoration work? Greater restoration? Alchemy formulas? Temples of Fury and The All-Spark setup. We just freed the city, want to learn more? ☐ Yes ☑ FUCK YES Get an update from Abbot Bobbi for more locations of teleport spots. Frank stuff: Get Dhraksis to put Aura of Vitality in my spell necklace. Cast Wish: I want a permanent application of the Wizard 3rd level Nondetection spell applied to me in the the form of a God of Fury tattoo on my chest that won't be dispelled by Dispel Magic. I'll do the 'can I cast wish again' roll next game. Take a several day rest while getting the above done.
Oh, and slavery is outlawed of course. Slaver's stuff is now the state's stuff. Slavers are in jail until we can figure out what to do with them. Laws changed so they are reasonable and fair if they weren't already. Court system created via a judge (cleric / paladin) of one of the church's etc Training paladins - open to all who can qualify. I think I had sent Lala or whatever he name was on a recruitment drive for paladins already? How's that going? Get updates from her. Had already been training some rangers / paladins from the last batch in our batcave, rotate them down and send some volunteers up to help man the cave. The ones brought down can help train any volunteers.

To-do: Have crews piloting our random ships setup a mini altar to Fury and Allspark somewhere in the ships. This way they can pray on the go as the urge strikes them. It also makes them mini flying churches easily recalled to.
To-do: Send communication to Bartertown to have them start planting crops around Stryfe Keep. Presumably it's not despoiled around there and crops can be planted now rather than waiting like it is around Bartertown.
ahhh nice call, both counts.
Level 12 Fighter: Talent -> Resilient. Raise Dex by 1 and gain proficiency in saving throws using the chosen ability Level 9 Paladin: 2 3rd level spell slots

Thanks for keeping up on this. .. I've got some thoughts for level 15+ weaponry.
I propose we setup 4-5 workshops. We need I think 2 churning out items for 'our' use and I think the other 2-3 would be a reasonable number to create trade items to sell to pay the upkeep on all of the workshops. Possibly set the default items made when we don't have a specific desire to healing potions (recipe of the kind we already have a couple of). One item I think we could corner the market on that would really be helpful to a lot of people / worth a fair bit would be copying an item we already have as loot and mass producing it, the 'nectar of the gods soap pump - (1 taste = full food/water needs for the day) 6/day'. The uses for something like this would be extensive and far reaching. For forges we could do the same sort of scenario. Have 2-3 churning out whatever people want to trade for which will provide upkeep and raw materials for all while having another 2-3 arming our troops (tower shields, polearms, etc). Can we make grenades for types we have? We have dispel grenades, surely there are people who would pay well for dispel grenades if we can copy and produce them.
Fighter 14 - Ability Score Improvement: +2 Charisma Paladin 11 - Improved Divine Smite
Fighter 15 - Superior critical: crit range 18-20 Cleric 1 - cantrips, spells, divine domain (to be determined as I'm unsure what it would fall under)

To-do list: Find possessed family. 'Deal' with anyone found in their general vicinity who is or isn't possessed in their own right. Ask THX to channel The History Channel to tell me if this New Cyre town we're rolling up on and getting our ships back from, is directly related to the demons giving us grief, and if so, are these demons fond of their worship. If the answer is yes, devise ways on the fly to send clear messages to the demons that continued shenanigans to Bartertown will cause us to return to have more conversations with their worshipers that aren't now deceased and to knock down any walls still standing. Also, check what is protecting New Cyre treaty-wise from hostile people(s). They aren't allowed ships? Why hasn't anyone steamrolled them? Especially when they're getting up to shenanigans.
Fighter 16: Feat - Resilient : +1 to Intelligence and gain proficiency in saving throws using this ability Cleric 2: More 1st level spells Channel Divinity: Sow Madness - Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to shatter the minds of other creatures. Since I'll be missing the next couple of sessions and have a lot of downtime ahead and will presumably gain a level one of which will be in cleric where I'll get a feat, I want to pick up the 'Skilled' feat which gives proficiency in any combination of 3 skills or tools of my choice. If's an option, I want to pick up Weapon Smithing and two others to further the specialization of creating mystical holy weapons. Then I wanted to spend my time re-purposing the 'TrueCleaver' looted from the demon into a holy weapon of The Fury (think Holy Avenger or Mace of Disruption from the DMG or whatever). I'll get the Fury Paladins / clerics from Bartertown to help me on a rotation and make Fire Todd because if he doesn't he's toast. Then lock myself in a room / forge / church whatever until the job is done. From the loot list: TrueCleaver -- massive Glaive 3d10 magic slashing damage.. when attuned, the owner can spend an action once per long rest to make an attack roll against any magical effect within 60 feet as though casting Dispel Magic, using your attack roll instead of a spellcaster check. The item is Tainted by evil, and requires a cleansing ritual for 30 days to remove the taint. While tainted, the weapon cannot be used to Smite unless the owner worships Kazarak.
sounds like a plan. 30 days of cleansing = a religion dc 25 skill check each day. each failure extends the time needed by an extra day.. 3 failure in a row means you start over. This can be an assisted task for dvantage if someone is willing to assist. followers can play that role
Nevermind the Glaive is dumb.
Rather than try to fix the glaive myself I delegate it to a couple clerics / paladins in town (proficient in religion) and have one of the arcane forges help fancy 'er up until it's cleansed - clerics can do guidance, etc.
.. alright. They'll have it ready eventually. :P
Level 18 warrior: Survivor At the start of each of your turns, you regain hit points equal to 5 + Con modifier if you have no more than half of your HP's left. You don't gain this benefit if you have 0 hp's. Level 4 cleric: Feat Sentinel When you hit a creature with an opportunity attack, the creature's speed becomes 0 for the rest of the turn. Creatures within 5 feet of you provoke opportunity attacks from you even if they disengage when leaving your reach. When a creature within 5 of you makes an attack against a target other than you and the target doesn't have this feat, you can use your reaction to make a melee attack against the attacking creature.
Darguun advancement ideas: Upgrade their blacksmithing and refinement ability via tutors into Iron age. As refining their current bronze into iron upgrade would take time, the newly conquered New Cyre can be stripped (dozens of Large / Huge Goliaths, Fortress tanks, etc). Loads of weapons and maybe armor laying about from the recently defeated army can be repurposed. There's so much iron and other resources to be stripped from the city and as they have 10's of thousands of army people lurking about, it could be done quickly. Additionally all of the turrets from the city and surrounding countryside can be relocated / fixed / duplicated. We can send in help with our mech guys who are just gathering dust in our jungle fortress (their place in the fortress can be replaced with people from Bartertown). I'm sure they can be shown how to create firing weapons with the mechs help? We currently have a ton of docents gathering dust - hobgoblins can help create shit to put these to use. When we used to take the portal in our forest hideout places we raided and picked up a ton of weapons and armor. If gathering dust they could be put to good use in helping upgrade and giving design upgrade ideas. Using dragonfly engine as a model (if not the frame going forward) and depending on the number of shamans they have (assuming decent - considerable amount of manpower) smaller / faster flying ships can be created in the beginning that only man 2-4ish people. What drawbacks the ships suffer from low weight and not being able to haul around as many people as carriers / other flying ships can be made up for in speed and sheer numbers. We should consider broaching the subject of arming and allying the nation with possibly Thrane. If we do it now, and phrased in the right way they may see that it's for the best. Explanation being right now they're weakened and don't have a lot of force to throw about and say no. So if they were to send a force after us because they don't like our idea and actions, we have a reputation of murdering all comers. Additionally, when it came right down to it, who fought a god from hell, knocked his flagship city off the map, destroyed a link from hell to our world and murdered the shit out of all of the evilness lurking in New Cyre? Thrane? No, they were too busy bleeding all over themselves elsewhere. The hobgoblins did. Also, as we're bringing them around to the glory of The Fury (even if jointly alongside Doldorn the Hero of Courage and Steel) this shows them to not be totally dicks and somewhat civilized (by Thrane's standards).
Level 19 Fighter - Feat: Lucky 3 luck points per long rest. Whenever you make an attack roll, ability check or save, you can spend 1 luck point to roll an additional d20. You can choose to spend one of your luck points after you roll the die, but before the outcome is determined. You choose which of the d20's is used for the attack roll, ability check or save. You can also spend one luck point when an attack roll is made against you. Roll a d20 and then choose whether the attack uses the attackers roll or yours. Level 5 Cleric - destroy undead, more spells
