[PF]Help with creating weapons within the character sheet

October 12 (8 years ago)
Hi all,

New GM here, and I'm trying to upload my player's characters to the online sheet.

I'm just not sure if I'm doing the weapons right. This is what I have.

The weapon is a two handed Earth Breaker. The attack bonus total is +9, damage is 2d6+7, crit 20/3, two handed (so Str*1.5).

I think I'm doing something wrong because when I hit the little die to roll an attack to test it, I get 4d6 on the table, and the calculated damage seems to be very low (this character his HARD!).

Can you see something wrong with that picture?

I know this is very basic question but the sheet wiki is kind of confusing in this regard.

It looks like you have things filled in correctly Andy.  Although, the attack total +8 and damage total +6 in your screen shot do not seem to jive with what you posted...

You can mouse-over your roll results in chat to see what you rolled and what modifiers were applied.

You could switch your damage ability selection to 1.5 str instead of putting that in the multiplier field (unless this has changed in the recent versions).

That has changed.  ;-)
Instead of a selector, you can enter any multiplier and any ability.

ah, good to know. None of my players use a two-hander, so I hadn't noticed the change.

As vince notes both the attack bonus and damage bonus are too low by 1. Which could be somewhere else in the sheet. If you look at the top section where it has the Melee bonus, you can see what is missing maybe. Unless it is a +1 weapon, then you'd put the 1 in "Enh".
