Ok what does everyone want to do next Monday? 1. Skip the game and just take a week off. 2. Play a one-shot run by myself 3. Play a one-shot run by another player (volunteer) 4. Play a 'flashback' game 5. Play game zero of the 'Next Generation' Let me know what you think.
I would love to do a one shot.. I don't care who runs it. We can all roll our character concepts on http://www.whothefuckismydndcharacter.com/ :P

I am trying right now to get Betrayal at House on the hill working in Roll20 maybe that would be an option too.
Kristina is offering to run a one-shot FYI.
I have the board game for Betrayal but I didn't know it was even possible to play it in Roll20
Oh it is :) I am in a game right now and it works just fine. Just trying to get permission t copy the game for my own use.
Screenshot from the game
Interesting. Wouldn't it be cool if we could do Betrayal as our Monday game characters rather than the ones that are part of the game lol
Elly is the betrayer!!
I'm down for 1-3, 4 dunno really how that'll work can be fun maybe. 5 nty
Aww Brandon why no ty on 5?? :P Bella is just itching to get out :P
Personally I am leaning to a week off myself but majority rules. One thing for sure is because of where we left off we do need to shelf the game for one week :D
I'm down for whatever you all want to do. All the options sound great to me, really. I wouldn't mind running a one-shot, if everyone's interested. It'd give John a break and a chance to play for a change. But that's only if everyone wants to put up with me as a DM, of course lol.
I would love to do a one-shot. I suppose I can deal with you as a DM :P
Ok one-shot set the rules Boss-Lady
If I did the one shot (and I say if because I still want to make sure it's okay with Brandon and Kennon, no hard feelings if it isn't haha), it'd probably be 5th level characters, and you can use anything from the official Wizards of the Coast stuff. I'd have you guys already know each other, or if you don't want to, I'd plop you guys in a situation where you'll get to know each other real quick =D I'd let you guys pretty much pick what sort of game you want to play in terms of theme or setting. I was thinking maybe something halloween-inspired because of the time of the year though. The whole Betrayal at House on the Hill idea actually came up because I was thinking of maybe doing something inspired by that =D Or we could do pretty much whatever setting or theme you guys wanted.
Let's go! To the one-shotville. President Kristina is on duty.
I hope you guys have a good time! Whether it be doing a one-shot, or week off, or whatever it may be. Also that whothefuckismydndcharacter.com website is amazing! I just bookmarked it lol.
So what do we want to play as our one-shot. Pirates, thieves, evil-doers, mis-guided adventurers that wander into a haunted house, or something else. I think it would help to give Kristina an idea to work with as soon as possible.
I loooove the idea of doing a Halloween theme set in a haunted house or something like that. No idea what I want to play character wise lol. Might just depend on everyone else... though I do have a halfling barbarian in mind that I created for a game and never got to play her :P
Also Jen the reason I don't want number 5 is I'm not ready to retire Fenthwick!
lol I don't think it would mean retiring Fenthwick :P I think it was just as a means to get our feet wet with the next gen characters
It's one step closer to his retirement. lol honestly I think he's going to die before I get to retire him.
he better not

I am down to play in a one-shot, Kristina GMing sounds fun! Halloween / undead / spooky theme would be fun too
Ok Kristina, tell us what to do, how to make characters etc...
Okay, how about a Betrayal at House on the Hill inspired, haunted house exploration one-shot? You guys can come up with the reason you're exploring the house, or I can give you all one. Or perhaps a secret or two for some characters =D I made a new game; here's the link to join: https://app.roll20.net/join/1746806/dBZr2A Characters are gonna be 5th level, and you can use anything officially published by wizards of the coast. For stats, do 4d6 drop the lowest and you can reroll if your stats (before racial modifiers) add up to less than 70.
[[4d6dl1]][[4d6dl1]][[4d6dl1]][[4d6dl1]][[4d6dl1]][[4d6dl1]] For stats
For HP, you can roll or take the average, whichever you prefer. You just have to decide before you roll.
