D&D Player looking for other players to entice a DM to lead us.

Evening All. Player here looking to find like-minded players in an attempt to spark a DM to come lead us in battle. Here is how it works. First off, I am looking for a weekly or bi-weekly game with up to 5 players, including myself, and a DM. I am also interested in playing either 3.5e, 4e, or even a campaign established with D&D Next as its foundation. I leave it up to the DM as to which setting the game is in (including homebrew) and what materials are not allowed. Second, I would like a game that starts anytime after 7:00pm Eastern Time (US) if it is a weekday. My wife would kill me if I took up saturdays to be dedicated to a game but Sunday evenings would most likely be acceptable after 7:00pm Eastern Time (US). Thirdly, since I had the audacity to create this thread, I simply wants dibs on a rogue and/or a ranger to play in the game. Might as well earn some favoritism early on. With all of these requirements, is there anyone out there that share my same interests and time frames? If so, is there a character archetype that you also want dibs on? Feel free to join me by posting your interests here. Finally, if there are any members of the roll20 community that would be willing to lead us and become our DM please let us know if the prereq's above fit into your idea of a fun time. I am willing to also participate as an unofficial tech support for the roll20 system to get you running smoothly and to help my fellow players to reach the goal of a smooth game. This is the point in this thread where you leave your own mark below! Respectfully, -CodeNameGeek
I'll be keeping an eye on this post to see what day of the week you end up choosing. I prefer a non-weekend night myself, and 4e or Next for the system.
Hey man, I am just about to begin a campaign, and im looking for players. so far i got 2 guys, and we will decided on game days that works best for everyone, we are playing D&D next, rogue is open on my campaign i have a pregenerate rogue that needs a player, The Forge of Fury is the name of the campaign if your interested apply and we can see when is a good time to start playing. I have dm'd campaigns before just not using roll20.
hey Loco, would you allow a monk who dreams of becoming an Apostle of Peace?
my game is very combat based, but its d&d do what u want
Loco I will try to get in touch with you in the forms that are allowed here (such as pm and leaving a post here). I am defiantly interested in joining. Check your messages for more. Now I still plan to continue to find games so don't let that discourage us from continuing this thread! -CodeNameGeek
Lol.. an Apostle of Peace thrives in 'combat' based situations.. the problem is.. its the other players who may have the issue with how this Apostle of Peace resolves combat.(He resolves it by stopping it, you will see) , so does that mean I can create a character for your Campaign?
@raymond yeah thats fine by me, you can rp with the other players about how u do combat, but yeah i think of D&D as a place where u can do or be anything u want(within limitation)so i think the peaceful monk is a great idea @codenamegeek yeah sounds good i got a couple people so now my mission is to set a day and time for the first session
Ok LoCo I need an invite then! And I will work up a character just need your ground rules on rolling attributes.
Which edition is going to be ran
