Floating compendium names - Google chrome

On drag and drop from 5e compendium using OGL (though it may be with other sheets aswell) sometimes the search resets results in the compendium panel and results in a floating asset of the spell/item name on the screen, this is always on top of sheets etc and although it can be resolved by a refresh of the game it can be an annoyance if you are creating a group of NPC's etc. If you need screenshots let me know and I will upload once I recreate the issue.

This certainly doesn't sound like normal behaviour, we'll try the normal tech help steps to ensure it isn't a client side issue but if it persists please follow step four and those screenshots would be a great help :) Thanks Could you please carefully work through the first three steps of our guide to Solving Technical Issues ? I was thinking it may be an issue with the browser but I know one other person who has been afflicted with similar issues, thankfully its more of an annoyance that anything else, I will go through the steps once I get back to my home computer and leave any comments following on from results, thanks for the response

This has happened to me too. It's very occasional, and a refresh eliminates it. It's the same sort of floating button you get when you minimize a character sheet, for example, but it cannot be expanded or dismissed.

I've had this as well. It's not just with the compendium. I've had it when dragging art assets around the ingame library or from the library on to the VTT and when dragging journal entries around as well. Haven't had it in the jukebox, but I also haven't done much there yet. As James said, it's more of an annoyance than anything else and it happens rarely enough that I haven't remembered to drop a bug report by the time I'm done with the game or the setup that I'm working on at the time.
