Add a reward system for "dependable" players

Dear Roll20 staff, first of all, let me say thanks for the great platform, which you developped. I am enjoying the games in here and I love your concept. Now I would present a complain, which I encountered countless times during my last 5.000 play-hours. From my personal experience, the player base in Roll20 unfortunately contains alot of "flaking" and "inconsistent behaviour". What do I mean with that? - People are often applying to campaigns, but yet fail to show up - Players disappear from running campaigns, DMs sometimes just "ghost" the whole campaign and fail to respond whatsoever For someone, who is interested in consistent campaigns, I would appriciate a reward system, which positively rewards players for loyalty / regular playing. I leave the concrete implementation up to you, the target should be to reward / flag people that are very dependable (positive reinforcement, no need to flag the leavers). A couple of ideas: - Reward achievements for consistency (regularly showing up to announced sessions, regular log-in rates, etc.) - Allow player-based "honering", similar to online games, where the users can positively recommend the player to others - Enable a search function to filter for these players I can assure you that this feature will resonate positively with many other users, as I am not the only one having this issue. Thanks and best regards, Jeno

Allowing people to ascribe a rating to other people is not something we really want on Roll20, even though I understand why it would be useful to weed out toxicity in peer-driven games like tabletop. We don't foresee this feature being on our radar for a long time, at least until we can figure out the ethical implications of it. This type of feature can and has been very easily abused before. On toxic users though, that is why our dev and mod team is here. We absolutely want to weed out toxic users and abusive users but rating is not the way to do that. Reporting toxic behavior is. Please report any users that violate our code of conduct and if you don't see a report button on the relevant interaction, please email us at <a href="mailto:team@roll20.net" rel="nofollow">team@roll20.net</a> I hope you understand our firm stance on this. I'll be closing this thread and releasing your votes.
