Token Maker

I've created a browser based token maker using the Html5 Canvas and the KineticJS library. It's in the early stages, but it runs in recent Chrome and Firefox browsers. IE is not supported, and Safari and others have not been tested. It works much like TokenTool. Drag images from your PC into drop areas for the overlay image and the base image. Drag the images around the edit canvas, and use the mouse scroll to zoom in and out of the base image. Right click the clip result image to save. The app is better explained on my blog at serpentineowl.com, look for Html5 Token Maker. The app is located at html5tools.serpentineowl.com/Html5TokenMaker.htm. The github address is github.com/SerpentineOwl/Html5TokenMaker. I hope people find this useful.

looks very nice. I have a suggestion. Put in some overlay samples for use. I have various images that I could work with but I don't have any overlays. If you supply a few overlays people will try it out more. Overall I like it.
That's a good idea, thanks. I'm not a graphic designer (what I can make is very basic), but I could certainly provide some links to other sites that provide overlays.
And that's done.
I love the app concept (and that its html5) and would love to see something like this part of -or- supported by Roll20 officially since it would speed up game prep noticeably on the GM's side. It took me a a little while to set the mask up properly and well... I initially missed the 'click overlay to set transparency mask color.' section at first, but it makes some darn nice looking tokens in the end. If you would like I can make some token overlays for your use (now that I know how to set them up for the app) I haven't done Graphic Design work in a long time but I know the tools well enough to make them quick enough.

And so it begins to build steam. :D
Great job with this serpentine. I'll use this a lot
J Biggs, I'd be happy to set up a page with downloadable token overlays if you make them. Your overlay looks really good.
I quickly threw together a thin and thick border Token overlay in 8 colors each, nothing all that exciting but they all function well within the current App. I'll try and message you the links to all the versions later today Serpentine.
Lol, I love your portrayal of a Stone Giant. Nice work on the program.
Thanks, Chargeit. I drew a couple of sloppy images for public demo purposes, but I usually use all the graphics I got from my account at Wizards for my own stuff. I've also updated the site to add a new section of downloadable overlays contributed by J. Biggs. Thanks, J.
This is really cool. Very nice work. :)

Very nice. Glad you chose to post your program serpentine and thanks to J B for tossing those outlays together also.
