Map/Page constantly crashing (due to decoration-overload, probably)

Within my campaign, I created a map that was supposed to host quite the number of decorations, since I can't always remember how the hell I found that stupid thing and I don't want to completely overload my library. It's hard enough to organize as it is. Apparently, that was a stupid idea. Ever since, I can load said page, but can't select anything at all. If I try, my task manager tells me that firefox' CPU-usage rockets through the roof. Right before it hits something around 3.8 million K, the window just simply crashes completely. (Up until that point, everything's frozen.) I read roll20's warning about maps getting to big, but that hasn't bothered me in the slightest - a collection of decoration, though, kills it instantly... Is there any way to get this stuff working again, fix this issue, work around it, anything? Using Windows 7 64 bit, Firefox 50.0. JavaScript is enabled and my anti-virus-thingy is Avira AntiVir, but I don't think that this would actually matter, neither should my addons/extensions, since everything worked just fine before.

Which game is the one with the uncooperative page and do you recall what the page name is?
Page is named 'Deko', campaign 'shaping fate'.
So, right now, I'm trying to get as many items off that map as possible and I noticed a funny thing: While I, apparently, can select some without causing crashes, I cannot select others. Seems weird, overall. Can't figure out if there's a pattern behind it... yet. The stuff I carried over to other 'collection-maps' works just fine.
I think I figured it out, kinda? The only unresponsive items which will lead to crashes seem to be the ones I have in/drew from my library. I just don't get why ...
Still can't select the items from my library on that map and that map alone - and these items, alone. I can anything else and anything on any other map. I can even place new items from my library on that map and manipulate them, but not the ones already there.

I made a copy of your campaign to take a look at it and then had other devs test it. While my browser doesn't crash, it does hit some temporary freezes at points. While some of the other devs didn't find any issues. What is likely going on here is that you've hit a personal cap of how many art assets your browser can handle all at once on a page. The amount of image assets on a page hits a sliding scale the same way page size can affect your ability to play optimally without lag. The lowest common denominator is your and your other players' bandwidth. The way your deko page is arranged, I'd recommend utilizing folder organization in your My Library. That way you can sort images into folders for Tables, Chairs, Couches, etc in the same this deko page is situated. When you click on a folder or a graphic to open up its Folder View, you can see big thumbnails of all your graphics in much the same fashion you have them on that page. Doing this will not only minimize the lag and freezing you're hitting, but you'll have this organized index of images available for every single game you create. I recently updated our wiki page on our Art Library that walks through the entire organization process of the updated Art Library that could be helpful: https://wiki.roll20.net/Art_Library
That's interesting. Thank you very much! I know how to organize my library, if necessary. I tried to accomplish something specific with this decoration-page. I wanted to give my players the opportunity to play a little "Sims" within the campaign, decorating their own headquarter to their hearts desire. Sadly, I can't show them my library in any way that I know of. Is there any, maybe?

Sadly, I can't show them my library in any way that I know of. Is there any, maybe? There isn't a way to do that, no. For your case, what might be less taxing on your game is to create a screenshot/picture of all your decorative art assets, then add some ID numbers to each piece of art (or some other sort of identification system that makes sense to you) and then share that picture to your players in a handout. That way the players can look this over at any point in time and request a certain piece of furniture from that list picture. It'll save you from having to bounce between your Deko page and their HQ page.
Thank you, I'll consider that. I think this topic can be closed now. :)
