SUGGESTION: When a player right clicks on an object, on the object layer, and selects 'Add Toggle', they are presented with another art resource upload/selection window. When they select another graphic, a button appears on the center of the object which only the DM can see.
When this button is tapped, the object switches its selected sprite.
Why you ask?
In our campaign, we have Chests, Closed Doors, Alternate Personas for Characters, etc. To change these, I we are required to literally swap out the resources.
Ideally, I could tell a Door, "You have two states, an Open and Closed version". And to toggle then, I would merely hit that little button. To the players, that chest would suddenly become open... or a monster... or a stack of gold. But it would allow the creation of diverse traps, and responsive characters with very little effort.
Removing it would be as simple as Right clicking again and choosing 'Remove Toggle'.
