Object Graphic Toggle Button

(As always, thank you for reading. The below is personal opinion only and does not represent the opinions of others)

SUGGESTION: When a player right clicks on an object, on the object layer, and selects 'Add Toggle', they are presented with another art resource upload/selection window. When they select another graphic, a button appears on the center of the object which only the DM can see.

When this button is tapped, the object switches its selected sprite.

Why you ask?

In our campaign, we have Chests, Closed Doors, Alternate Personas for Characters, etc. To change these, I we are required to literally swap out the resources.

Ideally, I could tell a Door, "You have two states, an Open and Closed version". And to toggle then, I would merely hit that little button. To the players, that chest would suddenly become open... or a monster... or a stack of gold. But it would allow the creation of diverse traps, and responsive characters with very little effort.

Removing it would be as simple as Right clicking again and choosing 'Remove Toggle'.

Dude, every single one of your ideas needs to be implemented. These are epic suggestions.

Ah. Sorry, this topic gets repeated every now and again. Suffice it to say, the Devs have been juggling with the idea of multi-sided tokens. I'm sure it's something they'll give a good hard look at when the development cycle comes round to Tokens again.
