D&D Champion league (A D&D PvP experience)

me and one other are currently experimenting with the idea of a pvp D&D setting , making use of rankings and scheduled matches. 3 different match types A: Battle royal B: 2 v 2 and C: 3 v 3 we would like to attempt a D&D pvp league where players will create characters and fight against other players! when you win a certain amount of matches you are granted a character sheet to make a higher level character to fight in higher ranking matches or another class in the same rank this is a basic idea we have right now . shoot us some feedback while we are working on the game , we will be opening it soon ! please message me if you are interested as we will be doing trial runs soon
Just as a thought, direct combat might not always be the best way to do PvP. Who's to say you don't pit a pair of players against one another in a competition to obtain an item first. Maybe it's at the back of a cave, and the person who walks out of the cave with said item is the winner.  Whoever can find the murderer in a small village first. Whoever can reach the top of the mountain first. Whoever can survive the longest in a massive environment (forest, volcano, arctic region, swamp, desert, etc). You can do a lot more with this rather then just a straight 1v1, 2v2, 3v3. Adding more to it would add another element to it.
