Jukebox audio distortion on Chrome

Hi, I seem to be having an odd issue when I run sounds from the Jukebox. There's an audio distortion that makes any track played have a constant ticking noise throughout. The odd thing is, it only seems to happen when I'm using Chrome. I don't experience the issue at all when in Firefox. I'm currently using Chrome Version 24.0.1312.56 m with Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit OS with service pack 2. I prefer using Chrome with Roll20 however because I find all the other features on the gaming table (Dynamic Lighting for instance) run much more smoothly with Chrome. Has anyone else come across this phenomenon? Thank you.

I just created a soundcloud account using Chrome, did a search for Roll20 and played a number of tracks. I didn't get the distortion on any of the test tracks I played. Very strange...

Well, we use Skype for voice chat, so I've never experienced distortion on that front. I cleared the Chrome cache per above and tried re-logging into the Roll20 campaign, played a couple of the tracks and the distortion remains. I also tried logging into a new campaign and played some tracks. The distortion persists.
