Greetings! I am an experienced DM looking for 4-5 dedicated players for a long-term campaign. Games will be Saturdays (weekly or bi-weekly) starting around 10 PM EST. Though I am looking for strong roleplaying and developed backstories, I am not overly serious in the running and playing of my games. Silliness and humor are of course welcome, at appropriate times. :) IMPORTANT: All of my campaigns, listed below, will be very RP-heavy. We will be using the Slack messaging service to roleplay characters for at least a month before the game starts. This will allow the players to introduce, explore, and develop their characters as well as allow me to set the groundwork for the campaign itself. By the time we reach our first actual game, the party will be introduced or thereabout, and the campaign will be ready to go. The games themselves will be mostly to run combat, leaving the time between games for roleplaying. Those who cannot keep up with roleplaying in downtime or have no interest in doing so, please do not apply. Access to a microphone is required for games. Video is optional, but likely won't be used. Skype is our go-to conference program, and I would like to have a Skype interview with the top chosen applicants.
Applicants: Newer players are welcome and encouraged! As an experienced narrator and player, and am more than willing to help out new players and guide you through the system or campaign. Seasoned players, of course, are welcome
as well! I

name is Dale, 34 M, and I have been tabletop gaming for nearly a decade - most often as a DM, put many times as a player as well. I have run campaigns including D&D, Lord of the
Rings, Star Wars, Superheroes and more. No matter what the capacity, I’ve
always been a very heavy roleplayer. Rules are merely guidelines for putting a
concept to paper, but a good character has a rich and personal concept to begin
with. As a writer, my favorite aspect of any game is in character creation and
roleplaying, be it in forums or online. As an actor, nothing brings me more joy
than having fun portraying a character in a light-hearted and dedicated group.
