Pathfinder - Spell macro just like the big pink Attacks button?

Hi - sorry if this is a dumb question, but I spent too many hours now trying to make it work, heh. I *thought* that the "Class Spellbook" big pink button would function just as the Attacks one does - whisper me a list of all my spells.  But all it does is level and concentration check buttons - not the spells I've entered on my sheet. So I started fiddling with a Prompt macro that might work essentially the same way - I spent hours and could not get it to work at all, at least not without having to essentially re-enter all my spells roll values and mods and yadda yadda.  It sort of defeats the purpose.  I'd press the spell roll button next to the spells I'd configured, press up in the chat box, grab that and try to make it work.  Nope.  I tried using the spell ID in various configurations, along with my name, without my name, etc.  That also didn't work. Anyone have any ideas here?  Have I just configured my spells incorrectly so the built-in Spellbook button isn't working?  And/or how to make the prompt macro work just as the built-in Attacks button works? Thank you in advance for any thoughts!!

It should display all the spells. make sure your spell class on the top of the page has a name and  level. If you have 0 for spellclass-0-level and did not choose a spellcasting ability just below it, it will will ignore the list of spells thinking you don't have any spellcasting, as well as not calculate anything correctly. If you hit refresh it should regenerate the macro as well.
Oh my gosh, I feel like such a doofus now!  It works just fine now, thank you!  (I suppose the silver lining is I got my hands in macro stuff a bit ;)

don't worry It is not obvious.. maybe we should hide everything until those 2 items are filled out, since it confuses people.

We must strive to make the sheet "Doofus" proof.  ;-P
