Early in March Aife showed up at the door of Lady Jayne Ayre, a influential woman in Londonium. Jayne was used to hosting many parties and meeting many within the city, though it us unlikely a woman has ever showed up on her doorstep for the reason of courtly romance. Though there Aife was, and perhaps Jayne found that intriguing as she allowed Aife inside. They seemed to hit it off, and later that month they arrived together at the VI club, which Aife had also recently joined. They were a great match, and shared a common ambition of raising within the ranks of the city. The only difference was the paths they took to reach those ambitions, but for the time being those paths have intersected. Aife also took this opportunity to greet the two hosts of the fine party. Griff Rhys who was also recently gaining influence in the city and a fellow Captain, though stationed in a different regiment and the lovely Baroness d'Winter.
