- [Bugfix] "...is typing" notifications will no longer show when you start typing a command (e.g. /roll) - SoundCloud searching has been overhauled. There is now a drop-down to choose from several types of files to search for, as well as a completely unfiltered search. In addition, you can now enter the URL of a SoundCloud song directly into the search box and it will find that exact song. - [Bugfix] The freehand tool no longer needs to be re-selected after each time it is used. - [Bugfix] GM Notes should now correctly paste when you copy + paste a token. - The formatting bar will now stay attached to the top of edit boxes instead of floating to where your mouse last clicked in the box. - The player listing along the bottom of the screen has been overhauled. Now as soon as a player joins the game they will appear in the list using their profile picture. Then if they turn on video/voice chat it will replace the static picture. In addition, the name of the player is now listed below the picture/video, and the background of the name is a volume meter that should increase/decrease to indicate who is speaking. Finally, each player is automatically assigned a color (players can change their own colors by clicking on the color box next to their name). This color is now used when performing any map pings, and will be used throughout the UI as we continue to overhaul other parts. - You can now hold down the Shift key while performing a map ping to scroll all player views to the place where the map ping appears. - The edit flag for the bars and auras in the token settings now correctly only applies to players who have control of the token. In addition, if a player can edit a token's bars/auras they will be able to see the bars/auras even if the "View" box is unchecked. - You can now choose from "Small", "Regular", and "Large" video sizes under the My Settings tab.

This is all awesome, Riley. Looking forward to testing all the bits out in the next night or two. The Small video size setting addition completely made my day. It takes up way less screen real estate and is still big enough to get the point across.
I have a suspicion I'll be explaining Gravatar to my players on Friday :)

I just had to with one of my mine. He then openly cheered.
I dunno if I'll want to send 'em to Gravitar or not... I'm quite happy at not looking at their faces - I, however, shall make them suffer mine XD Nice updates Riley, I'm currently abusing soundcloud something rotten and liking the updated character info box, looking forward to what you guys have for us next week.
One question. Does changing the video size raise/lower the bandwidth requirements for the video? or does it just stretch/scale the box?
@ken I suspect it just stretches the box... but if a smaller window does lower the bandwidth then that would be brilliant for me - I have 2 computers in this house using the same crappy internet connection trying to broadcast and receive... yeah, it ain't pretty, so we're resorting to voice only.
Thanks! There are significant improvements to usability.
Actually I'm having trouble changing the colours of the freehand tools (pen, box text) - is anybody else having this or just me?
Paul-- The drawing tools need an overhaul, as discussed... well, everywhere else. We'll get there.
Nolan-- I'm aware they're going to be getting an overhaul and I know you'll get there... I'm just pointing out that something that was working is now no longer working just in case it was unintentional and you didn't know, y'know?
Oh, so you're saying that it just shifted to that? Pardon me, then. We'll have a look at that.
No worries, I thought we'd crossed lines somewhere and I could have made that post a little clearer.
I just tried and was able to change colors after-the-fact, but Riley's also havin' a look.
It's working for me now too... it certainly wasn't before. I tried it on chrome and firefox, both weren't responding. Probably a glitch on my end :\
Meh. Who knows. That's why we're in beta, right? RIGHT. :)
Speak for yourself, I'm just here for the girls! :D
