Subtract from generic token bars

Hello, I'm wondering if there's a way to quickly subtract/add from a generic token bar (bubble)?  It only seems to work for tokens that represent a character, but I'm trying to track monster damage, and if I link multiple monster tokens to my one monster character, all the bars go down instead of just the monster injured. Does someone know a good way to manage this?

Hi Sean, please review  this page of the wiki. You are wanting the 'Mook' setup :)

Thank you for the quick reply, I am familiar with setting up tokens as Mooks.  The problem is that if a token's bars are unlinked, adding/subtracting (i.e. the bubble says "20", I click on it and type "-5" after the "20", but it shows "20-5" instead of "15") via the bar's bubble does not work (probably because it doesn't know the value represents a number, since it's not linked to a known stat such as HP or Speed).  Does that make sense?

I use the same method and it properly calculates 15. I would check to make sure that you entered "20" into the bar value and not " 20" or some equivalent.
You need to actually highlight the current value and type -5 into the bubble and it will do the math. Typing 20-5 will not work as you have found.

I did that on Sunday and had to re-figure all the hits to the monster.
