These are from the adventure book and give your character a reason to pursue the main quest. Achieving certain related goals will earn your character inspiration. Players are encouraged to pick one from the list as character motivation, and if you don't pick one, I'll assign one. I'm leaving out details so the list won't be just loaded with spoilers, so let me know which one to give you more info about. "Best Served Cold" - There is someone you are driven to find and defeat. "Dangerous Information" - You overheard cruel bandits planning a raid and intend to stop them. "Dangerous Secret" - You ahve been assigned to infiltrate a group and discover its true plans. "Dark Omens" - You are aware of signs and portents of a terrible disaster related to nature out of balance. "Defeat the [spoiler]" - Vicious raiders have laid waste to several small hamlets and merchant caravans. You are sworn to stop them. "[spoiler] Rebel" - You have been sent to retrieve a noblewoman from Waterdeep. "The Fugitive" - You are on the trail of a ruthless murderer. "Hired Hand" - Homesteaders who were kind to itinerant workers are now missing. You set out to have rengenge and to rescue any survivors. "Madman at [spoiler]" - You know that unsavory sorts have occupied a certain location and that there's a secret way in. "The Mud Sorcerer" - Months ago you were robbed by a genasi who killed several innocent bystanders. Now it's time to find him and make him pay. "Ominous Dream" - You have seen [spoiler] in a dream and must stop this dangerous villain. "Recover Your Sword" - Thugs broke into the workshop where you apprenticed, murdered the master smith, and stole the beautiful sword she had made. "Rescue Your People" - Raiders have abducted people you feel responsible for protecting. They must be rescued at any cost. "Seeking Revenge" - [spoiler] torched your home (or razed a defenseless village). You are sworn to stop them. "Settle a Score" - Marauders robbed your friends (or family) and left you for dead. It's time to even the score. "[spoiler]'s Trail" - Months ago, [spoiler] destroyed your ship by conjuring a powerful storm. Dozens of sailors died, and you intend revenge. "Standing Offer" - Months ago, you served as a guide for a band of mysterious pilgrims. Your mission is to infiltrate the group and discover their intentions. "Strange Map" - An ancient map has come into your possession, showing the location of [spoiler]. "Suspicious Fellow" - You have become suspicious of [spoiler] and decide to investigate. "Undercover" - You are tasked with breaking up a smuggling and piracy ring on the Dessarin River. "Walked Away" - You were briefly recruited by [spoiler] but never took up arms with them. Now you want to stop the villains before they give all mercenaries a bad name.

Are we going to do some talking about our characters in regards to all this stuff during the first session? It might be easier than just writing it down.
Mane and I met in the game room and talked it out along with some other character creation details earlier. Sirkov is using a character from a previous game, so we banged out the details in a brief exchange. We can sort out your details whenever is mutually convenient, in the game session if necessary. Anything spoiler-ey I need to tell you I can do privately.
