How do you make GM rolls in the Chat Log visible to Players as well? Is this even possible?

I was curious if there is a way to make the GM rolls visible to players and not GM only, i'd prefer to have zero transparency when it comes to the dice and make it so all dice rolls from everyone are seen by everyone. Is this even possible to setup like that? Thank you in advance

Hi, James D. Might the issue you're describing stem from using a particular Character Sheet that defaults to whispering its output to the GM?
I'm using the Lost Mine of Phandelver module with the standard 5E character sheets, is there a way to identify if that is the problem, and if so, a way to correct/reverse it so all rolls made by anyone are visible by everyone? Thank you so much in advance
For clarity, i'd like my players to be able to see my rolls (GM).
If a macro has /w GM, just hit it and then in the chat press [Up Arrow] and copy it into a new macro, just erase the /w GM part and Bob's your uncle, you have it.
Jakob has a script and a command that will change all of the NPC character sheets from Always Whisper to Never Whisper. The solution takes about 10 seconds. You are a Pro subscriber, so you have access to this solution (it was the impetus for me to upgrade from Plus to Pro). Manually changing all of the NPC character sheets was difficult enough manually for Phandelver, and was way too much work in Storm King's Thunder. I am looking for the thread where Jakob helped me. I will post it soon when I find it for you.

Thank you, I followed the link and found the script, may I ask where this is pasted and executed? I'm a total Roll20 newb, but loving it so far!

After the API script is installed, you can copy and paste that command line into the chat box inside your game. I've only started working with the API scripts myself, so I don't know if I could walk you thru the process of installing the API script. There are very helpful people on this forum who would be better at guiding you to the API wiki info or explain the how-to part of that.

I 'm having trouble locating the information I found to learn how to install the API scripts. Basically on the game settings page (before you "join the game" -- I usually go to roll20.net then click on the NAME of the campaign to get to the page to which I'm referring) you will have an option called "API Scripts" under the Settings option to the right of Join Game. Click on that. Click on New Script and then cut and paste the code into the black box area, then click Save Script. You will want a separate browser window open with this API Script page. Open a different browser window and go into your game as normal. Then copy and paste that command line into the chat window inside your campaign game. All of the NPC character sheets will then change from Always whisper to Never whisper. Now you will have 100% transparency for your players. Being a newbie myself, I hope I haven't steered you wrong. Maybe an expert could confirm or deny my guidance before you attempt it. But this is how I solved that issue for our games. Cheers!
