[5e OGL] NPC Inventories or Horses in Inventory 5e

Hey all,  May have missed it but do NPC's have the ability to set up an inventory? Also, horses within inventories, are they able to be used as something similar to a backpack so that they hold something else?  Thanking in anticipation :)
What character sheet are you using, that may play a role in answering the question. For Horses, I'd probably make up a separate sheet for the horse.

Following the pathfinder model I'd expect equipment (loot) to be added to the traits or other area. The only value lost that I can think of is clicking a healing potion for example. Is there another I'm missing?
NPC versions of sheets can hold inventories but you don't see them when the sheet is NPC mode. The OGL sheet has a checkbox to uncheck and the shaped uses a radio button. I cannot comment on the community sheet as I never use it. For pack animals, follow Gozer's advice on creating a separate sheet. You then can add a token representing it.

I use the inventory portion of the sheet on the Shaped sheet. I just organize it with zero-weight subheaders, and turn of the weight for anything not carried.
Hi all,  We're on the OGL sheet and what we've done thus far is give them a separate sheet but not in NPC view because then you can't see the inventory. Thanks :)
