Moments after finishing off the venomous fungi, the party is attacked from behind by a couple of large, blue beasts with long tongues! The creatures are easily dispatched, but not before they show an uncomfortable interest in Malak's magic items. Elaryan reveals that he has heard of creatures like this, called disenchanters, that feed off the energy in magical items, draining them of their power. The party presses on, through the lair of some bat men (that Nor calls Sabosan) and onto a strange, subterranean highway lined with sinister-looking artifacts. Most of the party exercises caution, but Lor has a sudden burst of curiosity, running up and down the avenue and interacting with things. He plays several notes on a massive pipe organ made of bones (one of which drains energy from Malak) and yanks a black, stake-shaped staff from a stone slab (freeing a vampire seductress named Birgitte). Tired from their adventures, the party explores several of the passages that lead off the main avenue, but all they find are more strange devices. In one chamber, behind a locked door, they finally discover something that isn't sinister at all: a treasure chest. Malak opens it, only to reveal that it is full of adamantine wasps. The wasps fill the room, injuring several party members, and freezing Elaryan solid with their unusual venom. By the time the lasts of the wasps has been destroyed, the party is exhausted. Still, they are reluctant to rest. The noise of their battle may have drawn the attention of wandering monsters, and if Elaryan is to be believed, Birgitte is somewhere around, invisible and watching. Everyone who played gains 3,000 XP
