Prayer Requests and General Fellowship

A thread for anyone and everyone to post prayer requests. Prayers for my wife's sister and boyfriend. They have been visiting for awhile and we found out that they have been performing Pagan rituals in their room. The darkness is evident by their misery. Pray that our patience endure so God may be able to use us to show them the unspeakable joy and love that only Christ can offer. Pray for them that they have ears to hear and hearts to receive.

Of course I will be praying for you and them. I know how hard it can be to approach family and friends about Christ in a loving manner and tell them the Love of Christ.

I know that the exact ritual is not usually important, but if they are doing things in your home a Christian should avoid being around ex. ouija board, seance, occultism, etc... you should probably approach them in a loving manner and request they not do it at least in your household. Christ gives us the strength to speak all we have to do is go and he will give the words. (Sadly me and others have missed opportunities due to fear of persecution or other reasons). That being said we are still suppose to avoid bad situations if it is creating any. God bless still praying for your family and you Mark.

Hey guys. I have the opportunity to be DMing for a streamer of Twitch. the streamer is a good friend of mine that I have known for a few years now, but I'm not sure if he is a christian. Can y'all pray for me that I will be a good witness to this streamer and the audience that watches him? Thanks.

Hey guys can you pray for me as I suffer from higher functioning autism diagnosed years ago. This is often known as Aspergers syndrome. symptoms include interrupting people, terrible social skills in general, extreme insecurity, ADHD, depression, lack of friends (due to lack of social skills), etc... This has made life more difficult for me, but I realize that God can use me to build an amazing testimony no matter how broken I am mentally. (It is slightly easier online, but still remains there nevertheless).

Prayers and encouragement for both of you. Jeremy, I have seen you grow as a DM in leaps and bounds very quickly. I am really glad that you decided to put on the DM hat despite your hesitation. I have sat entertained by listening in on some of your sessions. I know you will do great.  Regan, I love your enthusiasm. You were voted for inspiration two games in a row! That should tell you something. I will give you reminders during combat to wait til your turn. You are getting much better with that. Role-playing games are a great way to exercise social skills. I am looking forward to watching your gaming and social skills grow over time.

Thank you have been working on it, but it helps that Aspies have single interest that they do well when talking and doing and mine is games lol. It helps it slightly when I transitioned from video game to role-playing, but I have struggled as it involves more speaking, but was surprised when I seemed to be the most outgoing in the games. Maybe it was because the others would not talk much so I felt I should add more to the RP aspect to the game. In no way saying they are to blame was just awkward during the quiet moments slightly.

Tough luck with your situation Regan. May God bless you and I am glad to hear that you are really involved in the campaigns. Hopefully we can share an adventure together.

I'm keeping you guys in my prayers and I would like to add one as well.  My Boss Kirby is having health issues with his kidneys and his spine. Witch would be bad enough. But we are in the middle of some major changes and projects at work so the added stress is not helping. Please pray with me that God will help him endure these trials. I work at a Hospital so the fruits of our labor effect a great many. We have to get it right the first time because in the business screw ups could have life or death consequences.  

I pray that your boss would have an easy time with his  health issues. May your work life be easy in its changes and implement the right changes to your work. May Mike's stress be removed as soon as possible. Thank you for the work Mike does and this trial be finished. Good luck with your job. I am praying.

Hey guys, I got a date for that session I'm running for the streamer. We will be playing Wednesday the 15th at 12:30 AM CST. The first session will not be streamed par my request so that I could get to know my players and they will get to learn how to play. I do believe he will be posting it to his Youtube account though, and I will link the video when it is up. I'm not sure if these guys are Christians so I ask that you please pray for me that my life may show the glory of Christ to them and the people who watch the video. As most of you know, I have a stutter and a speech impediment that I have been struggling with for most of my life. Please pray that I will be able to speak clearly. Thank you everyone. I will let you know how it turns out.

Pray for my friend Justin. He is a church planter in New Orleans. He was diagnosed with cancer recently and had surgery this morning to remove a lymphoma. He'll be starting other treatments soon.

Hey it's cool he's stepping out like that. Tell him it might just mean he has to slow down for a while, help the church he's already planted. Doesn't mean he doesn't have to stop. :) The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. (Coarse I usually say that about donuts and diets.)

Prayers for my family. My sister is going through a bad relapse in drugs and has lost almost all of her kids with her greed. My parents who are in their near 70s and having to take care of grandkids.

So sorry, brother. We hear this story all too often, it seems lately. Our prayers are with your family. Are you close enough to help your parents? If so, never underestimate the power that your interaction will have on those children. You may be the Godly figure that they must cling to, in the absence of Godly parents. I also am praying for an overwhelming conviction for your sister.

Hey you guys,today i sprained my ankle. I had to go to the doctors office to get a Boot.The problem is im the main role in a musical and have dance numbers i ask players to pray that in 2 days my ankle will heal.Thank you.

Please pray for my pastor's son, Gage Price. He's 8 years old or so. He has started having seizures and the doctors haven't figured out what's causing them.

Prayers for both of you.

I pray that the child will be healed and the Doctor's have the wisdom and knowledge to help him.

I will pray that he can be healed and live a life for god.

I was given a diagnosis of being a Grand Mol Epileptic when I was a Child. Becoming a prisoner in your on body from seizures can be really scary and no fun. You have no control over your body while seeing and hearing the world around you and everyone else freaks out and does stupid stuff like put things in your mouth. With many prayers and by the grace of God I grew out of it by my late teens and was able to play sports and even get a scholarship to collage. I have not had a seizure in 4 years. He will have my best wishes and prayers. 

Thank you God for making Mike able to go through this.

Yeah . It's not just a tradition, or something we should do but God of the Universe , who created us and loves us!

I thought I'd put this here, since it's the one we got. We had another one but we condensed them.  If you guys want you can set up a time to have bible study on discord to talk about this one or something out of a divotional. 30 minutes to talk and share what you are learning and the Holy Spirit is teaching you. In scripture, sometimes God Directs is in our relationships. Sometimes the pastor hasn't always covers this.  When we sin sin or another brother and sister in Christ sins, Jesus tells in Mathew 18 how to handle it.  We go talk to them one on one to try to work it out. Always in Love and always wanting the best for them.  In Proverbs 27:17 it says, "As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend." It helps us grow as we get truth along the way .  A lot of times that looks like someone telling us verbally how things impacted them or or things that they can see that we might be blind to. Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for your Love and guidance from your word. Thank you out of your love, we learn to love you more and each other. In Jesus' name Amen. if you like you can post here or have a time of fellowship in discord.

Prayer Request: My dad is losing a pinky toe, my mother is taking care of so much for the family for insurance, both medical and fire insurance. now we lost Good Sams but luckily we got Allstate to cover us for auto emergincies. So much crap has been happening for my family at the start of this year. please pray for my family and ask God to stop sending these character building experiences for us.

The second part of feedback is how we respond.  In Genesis 4:3-8 when Cain received feedback from the Lord about things going on in his heart by rejecting his sacrifice, he did not take it well and acted out on his brother. Feedback can be hard to take. We can feel sad, and not good enough if we disappointed a loved one. It can also make us feel vulnerable and not good enough we can feel like we want hide in the dark instead of staying in the light.   This Easter we just studied the cross and how Jesus bore our shame upon himself (along with our sin) and how God can see all our flaws and still loves us. In Genesis 3:21, it was a precursor to the animal sacrifice and the cross. God killed an animal because of their sins, and covered them with it, cover their vulnerability and taking away their shame. (A real friend sees our flaws and says, "I'm staying anyway.")  Its hard to take in feedback, it's a process of maturity. It can be hard to see it as a good thing, a part of normal relationships and situations like work or school. It's a part of maturity being able to listen. It helps me grow and see my impact on others. Proverbs 1:5 Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for your wisdom and your great love. Help me remember when I receive feed back of your great love and it helps me grow wiser in life.

I t can be hard  to take infeedback because it can feel like a putdown orcritism. But it's important for me so I can see how I impacted others and do I can grow.  I think this is one of those things that took me the way around to value, on its face doesn't seem like a good idea but it's part of normal healthy relationships.

We do need to know however, when to aid a friend, and when to separate ourselves from friendship if they are going to drag us down with them. 1 Corinthians 15:33, Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.” Proverbs 13:20, Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm. and verses on good friends, Proverbs 18:24, One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. Proverbs 27:5-6, Better is open rebuke than hidden love. Wounds from a friend can be trusted, but an enemy multiplies kisses.

Last one is really Good. Proverbs 27:5-6, open rebuke is better than hidden love.   In the 80 twenty rule, (80% of the time as opposed to 20% of the time) Are we being direct as needed and putting issues on the table or hiding them and not bringing it to them?  A wise person is able to take it in, listen to the impact they have on others. It's part of healthy relationships. I have to do it to have healthy relationships.
