[Question] Old Game, New Tricks? - Monster Manual without Compendium

Hi, I'm involved in a Dungeons and Dragons 5e game that has been running since before Roll20 was updated with the compendium and the new 5e character sheets. We've chosen not to update this particular game to the new style, as when using the update feature on other games I've found that some information from character sheets and other things has been lost, and besides that we're all quite comfortable with the old style for this particular game, although other games we run use the new style. My question is with regards to the Monster Manual pack that's coming to the marketplace. I was thinking of getting it for my DM, but I wanted to check that if I do she would definitely be able to use the tokens in our game that uses the old versions of everything and as far as I'm aware doesn't have the compendium tab available. Can anyone let me know?

The tokens have attributes based on the OGL sheet which will convert to the Shaped as well. For any other sheet they're just a token with attributes that will not be compatible with the sheet. So of no value imo.
Thanks! I can see what you mean, but I think it could still be worth it for nice tokens to use, even if we can't use the sheets in this game. Assuming the pack covers all the monsters and provides tokens for all of them, that covers a large range of tokens to use in game, and my DM can make use of the other features in other games. I'm gonna think about is some more.
