[LFG] [D&D 3.5 || 7th Sea || Pathfinder] [EST/GMT-5] [flexible schedule] [prefers longer campaigns & roleplaying-focused gameplay]

Looking for a compatible group involved in a story-driven roleplaying-heavy campaign, set in v3.5, 7th Sea or Pathfinder (7th Sea preferred), who like a balance of rp with their monster-fighting. I don't like power-gaming, fast levelling, or fetch quests. Things I really love: mystery story-lines, puzzles, politics, world-travel, paranormal, horror, adventure & being lost, treasure discovery, comedy & camaraderie. If you are interested in GMing such a campaign, or joining one, I'd like to hear from everyone. Even if I don't find a game, it's nice to talk about. I'm a freelance illustrator looking to make my first asset pack for the community, so finding a new game would help me figure out what kinds of things people would want. Thanks for your time.

Hi i'm new to D&D and this is my first game i'd like to join but i can only use text because i don't have a microphone and i don't have a character preference so i'll try anything.

A highly skilled player (3.0, 3.5, 4e, 5e, pathfinder, SW saga, mutants . . . Etc) my vote is pathfinder as I have no experience with 7th sea and pathfinder is like an upgraded version of 3.5. As for horror there's a 3.5 book "heroes of horror" that you may like. And if you're not find of power leveling or leveling often D20 modern is good for slow leveling and mutants and masterminds I've always felt make more sense to start at say level 10-15 and then basically never level. As super heroes rarely gain new powers and abilities.

Ps I'm interested in joining a group that arises from this, if one does. :)

I wouldn't mind playing a pathfinder game as well
