Congrats to everyone who had their Add On Pack announced (https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/4577638/update-2... ).

Congrats to Brass Badger, Gabriel P and Russ H for being involved in the launch as well.
Of course I'm stoked to be posted first in the list (seems strange to be included there in the first place to be honest) but I wish the best for everyone there and that the Add-On Packs kick on.

I can't wait to see what folks come up with as this section fills up!  We have a great start it looks like.

Thanks Andrew! Excited, just as Gabe mentioned, also to see what fills the section soon!

Do not use them yet, completely broke my game. Deleted everything on every single page I had.

Make sure you put this in the Bug Forum.

Did I miss a newsletter? How do you make addon packs?
February 03 (8 years ago)
Hey Plexsoup! I'll be sending out info on how you can begin working on your own Addons in the next Marketplace newsletter, so stay tuned!

I landed in it by coincidence Plex.

Will existing modules that fit the mold be transferred over? And if so, will existing purchased be transferred? Unless it includes Compendium work, I don't see the difference.
Sorry if this is the wrong place.

Think of it like this...
I have my Campaign of the Big Bad Guy (tm).  I bought the Add-On by Gabriel P.  I open the game, I find the Add-On in a settings area (sorry I forgot where, please edit to include guide later Mods!) and it then just copy-pastes all of the Add-On Material into my campaign.

For a Pro like yourself, it's more like "Transmogrify a Module/Resource Set in one go".  For non-Pro members, it's the closest they'll get to Transmogrify.

Just misread BP I think.  If it's relevant, read the strikethrough. :P

I can't wait to see how popular this area become and what new creations are coming. I'm not sure how I will do in this category but we shell see. I hope to see many amazing new ideas.

I notice a lot of people asking how to add "modules" to their existing campaign.
The answer is always: you have to make a new campaign and/or use the transmogrifier.

If "add-ons" provide a way to add a few new map-pages, some tokens and some NPCs to an existing campaign, I expect they'll become more popular than "modules".

I think the main different will be the content types.
An unpopulated map? Addon
A populated scripted map for a specific system? Module.

Thank you, Andrew, but I read all of that all ready, I was more so curious about the news letter to us creators containing the information about the process of creating add ons.
