Victoria has the next move

I will just leave this here...
Someone catch me up?
Umm let's see... Oh yes everyone in the party decided to convert and turn in Emma for the reward, it was Jon's idea actually. lol just kidding. Early last night Mustafa and I had to hide the wagon, it was found anyway but at least the party wasn't found. We found a few tidbits of information and we were getting to the bottom of that when we had to call it a night, Jon made a solo kill against a blind man, and there's a gift for Emma but she's going to have to submit to high school freshmen day/college fraternity pledge style hazing to get it. It was a pretty eventful night even though it was short.
let the record state, he wasn't blind when he decided to try and poison me!
Thanks for the update....   We'll see if Emma will take part in the hazing for the goodie...  So how did he get blinded?
i showed him the snow magic of course, then nicked and cut him to death..
First he tripped him with his white cane...

And so what is our next step?  How much closer are we to getting out of Spain?
Well Jon had just finished making his kill and we're still working on some of the information. Assuming it's all true we know the Hashishim has a house somewhere in town on Stable street, and that Aamir (who sells wine on Stable street) sells poison for vermin and has ties to the Caliphate, I'm thinking his winery might possibly be the Hashishim house or that he's related to it somehow. Also there's a brewery selling 'dwarven' ale however it's owned and operated by humans, their beer is quite strong though so it might be a good idea to get a good amount of it for distilling purposes. Also I'm not sure if this is important or not but there are casks of oil available for sale at the cooper's store. I had to get up a bunch of times during last night's session so I may have missed a few things, if so could somebody post an addition to this please.
I spoke to a Guildsmen, Caio. The longer we stay in one place the more vulnerable we, and wherever we stay, become. Our best bet is to go to the city of Porto (150 miles to the north), travelling at night. Once there, we need to find Bartle the Fisherman. He can smuggle us to France for 500 gold coins each. I believe this will be our best bet, if the Gods favor us.
Ok so how about we... 1. Go put Aamir out of this town's misery and take some of his poison to deal with any guard dogs at the stables. (As well as some poison for the rogues if they want it) 2. Borrow some horses and a new wagon from the stables. 3. Purchase some oil from the cooper and some empty casks for 'dwarven' ale. (This one is optional) 4. And then get out of dodge. And if anyone has some other steps to add I'm all ears.
Are we still in the town we were in 2 sessions ago?  Get out of dodge sounds good to me.
We're in the town we were attacked in and took refuge at the inn in the last time you played.
You know there are soldiers on the roads.
True but with some of us being unskilled at riding and others unlikely to be able to maintain a forced march, it looks as if we might have to take the roads at least part way. Can't very well out pace Jon and leave him behind now that he's a murderer of the blind lol. I suppose we could stick to the back country though and only use the less traveled roads when we have to use roads, it would be harder on everyone physically though because we'd have to carry everything we couldn't tie to a horse/pony/mule.
Horses, mules, and ponies seem the route we should be taking - they can go about 20 miles per day. There are enough of us with infravision to lead a pack train at night and sleep by day. Le'sha only needs one hour per day for reverie.
Yes I think Niko is the only one without infravision in the party so traveling by night is probably best. My concern though is the lack of the riding land based proficiency in the party, I know it's not required for riding in general but it is needed to do things like urge extra speed from a mount or hang over one side of the horse to avoid missile fire etc. Also it's a blessing when your horse gets spooked so you don't get thrown. Either way though we'll make something work.
