New GM here. The group so far is comprised of three members--all of whom have a good amount of experience and have agreed to point me in the right direction if I stray too far from the rules. In interest of full disclosure, I should make it clear that I'm also new to Pathfinder in general--haven't played since second edition DnD. As a teller of stories by trade, I always wanted to give GMing a try when I was active. Now that I'm back, and given the apparent shortage of GMs in general, I figured I'd jump straight to it with pathfinder. Over the last month or so I've been pouring over the core-rulebook and gm guide in order to be prepared as possible If that last bit didn't scare you away, we are currently in need of a healer. Not looking for a fully optimized heal bot; you can still have complete autonomy and flexibility with the character in question--it would just be good to have a pc in the party with some capacity to heal. So anyway, some info about our group: We plan to meet this Thursday, at 11pm est. Sessions will probably last between 3-4 hours. In future sessions, the actual day of the week is flexible since we're playing (what is, for us) late at night. We're starting with the adventure module "Hollow's Last Hope" as a trial run for the group. If everyone gets along and has a good time, it will serve as a prologue for the big, sprawling sandbox campaign I have in the works. The premade module is just a way to get my feet wet, mechanically speaking. Any good or neutral alignment is fine. Chaotic is tentatively okay--as long as your idea of chaotic isn't, "lol I killed that guy wit a spork im soooo randuuum XXXDDD." Roleplay focused. No meta-gaming (and we try to keep the optimization/minmaxing to a minimum) Currently comprised of a Ranger, Paladin, and Rogue. Only allowing core classes for the time being, until I'm comfortable enough with the base material to branch out. Core and capable of healing is all I ask. We'll be using voice chat (of some sort) and roll20. Webcams are suggested as they make it much easier to tell who's talking, but they're not required. Anyway, that's about it. Just pm me a little bit about yourself; your Skype, age, experience with the game, and your idea for a character. No fancy application or pretentious backstory needed. Also, we may eventually add a fifth player (once I'm confident I can keep track of four as it is), and if so, I'll probably pull from the applications here.
