As far as I know it has only been on this site. Used a bunch of malware/junkware/adware removal, cleared cache, did the google cleanup tool to no avail. Tried this on Firefox and have been getting the same thing. Any idea what's going on? Edit: I see it typically pop up when submitting posts or replys or just navigating the site typically. The download never starts just says it is "starting" unless I cancel it.
I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with the site. Could you please carefully work through the first three steps of our guide to Solving Technical Issues ? Step 1: Make sure to use the right browser Please check if these issues persist when using both Chrome and Firefox. Step 2: Ensure that there are no extensions/addons interfering with Roll20 Please disable all add-ons/extensions and anti-virus programs. Step 3: Clear your cache If none of the above succeeds, please thoroughly work through Step 4 . (Don't forget the complete Console Log!) Thank you!

I have disabled antivirus and all extensions to no avail so I moved on to step 4. Step 4 Google Chrome v 56.0.2924.87 Windows 10 Screen res 1920x1080 Browser size 1920x950 Java Enabled Flash v 24.0.-1 Cookies enabled Antivirus - BitDefender Antivirus Plus 2016 Console is empty when opening it. I have also just come across a new one. Went to compendium just to see what would happen, clicked on access D&D 5th Edition button and got this now Again no console report or anything.

Something is making your browser treat HTML and JS text as an executable application and trying to download it. My guess would be BitDefender is doing it. Are you sure BitDefender is completely disabled/not running when you are testing? You may want to look into BitDefender's manual and see if there is a way to whitelist/exclude roll20.net from BitDefender's "help". Edit: Also, be sure that JavaScript is enabled. I noticed your report says that Java is enabled, but Roll20 uses JavaScript, not Java.
