c02s02e09 - Bombing in Bodak afternoon day 53 Spirit guardians boosted to level 4 clears grunts good. it only took a round or two of that shit before they started crying for tec support while the team was holed up in the ship's kitchen. deadapes had torn the loading doors off and when tec officers arrived to support, dispel started disabling THX's divine spells. the hole they made upstairs just gave another entry point for more karrnath to swarm in... Cut off and surrounded, the team makes some space and ducks from view to shimmy up a rope trick.. which didn't do so well when Tec officers arrived and dispelled the effect after a 20 minute wait.. the team seeing a deadape park directly under the dimensional pocket.. dumping the team out, the Deadape starts thrashing around on the team's spot on the floor while half a platoon of Karrnath soldiers opened up on the party with gunfire. Rogar triggers a disguise self and barrels into a pocket of karrnath troops, muddling who the real target is -- buying enough time to duck into one of the service hatches that Dhraksis dived into. . THX makes fast with the Dimension Door that Tug loaded into his amulet while in the pocket dimension Down two players, separated from the third, THX does the unexpected and itargeted the top of the ship, where they predicted the bridge to be... finding a large room with a scrycom (basically a very complicated array of scry devices allowing the tracking of multiple positions both outside and INside the ship) -- multiple images of areas the team had trashed, as well as the damage Dhraksis -- and now Rogar-- was raining down on Bodak. Dhraksis and Rogar both figure out the gunpods have eject mechanisms to dump the gun bubbles they are using-- unwilling to engage the necrotec. Up in the Battledeck the two divine warriors cut down the crewmen trapped in the room. They spare two for uestioning but THX triggers a trap on the balst door, unleashint skeletal warriors with huge plates that made them link together like they were the wall... another fake wall on the Karrnath ship. They are difficult to end becuase of all the reinforced armor plating.. so before they can clean up everything, the literally box Frank in, completely concealed from THX while a lightning bolt jags across the warforged priest, already ridiculously damage. Frank is letting the rage out while boxed in and unable to move anywhere. The room starts to fill with a gas that slows the warriors when they pass their saves.. Frank cuts his way out of his impromptu coffin and they catch sight of the escape hatches built into the structure. Rogar and Dhraksis pop the eject levers about the time THX and Frank make a Tango and Cash exit off the top deck of a karrnath battle cruiser about 1500 feet above Bodak. Weapon fire is split between Dhraksis, Rogar gun bubbles and freefalling Frank Tug and THX-- diving into the panicing streets of the Bodak population while Bodak leaders are no doubt freaking out that the Karrnath ship has opened fire on the city. Dhraksis is on the hunt for his contact in the city- Larkin-- while Rogar triggers his disguise spell and melts into obscurity as Tug, Frank and THX land in a cart foll of slaves to be deliverd to their new owner. Camera slowly zooms out as Bodak seige machinery begin returning fire on the Karrnath ship stationed above. THX clears his vocals and rolls a 26 to preach to the athasian slaves about the All Spark... <End of episode 09> <<End of Season 2>> afternoon day 53 2/3 to level 9 Loot Acquired: Not really.
