Glaz Has Standing Orders...

As per last week’s game chat, Glaz has standing orders to move the shuttle to immediately in front of the cave (if possible). Bob, you might want to include a map of the cave with the shuttle just outside the front of it.

George Crester would be staying behind with Glaz. The chin mounted VRF Gauss guns use Gun Combat (projectile rifle). George has that -3. He also has Heavy Weapons (Launchers) - 2. So he'd also be handy on the belly mounted RAM/Gatling laser turret. ... or he could get behind one of the side mounted PGMP-14s. He has Hvy Wpn (man portable)-1. Not his forte but if the show needs plasma he can dish it out. ((Are the port authorities actually letting us float around town in the shuttle? I ( poorly ) remember words about that not being allowed. If the shuttle has to stay put at the starport landing pad George would still be the one remaining back with Glaz.))
Alby, this is out in the “wilderness” at a dig-site. We didn’t rule that George would be staying behind, so it’s up to Bob to decide whether or not to honor your opinion on that as someone that wasn’t there. That being said, the fully armed G-Carrier is still in orbit, waiting for orders to come down and fire at will, or medivac us as necessary. If Glaz wants reinforcements, she just has to ask.

I get the feeling that it may have something to do with some worlds being uncomfortable about ships with powerful weapons flying around. And being able to just go over and get fuel from the lake instead of buying it at the crazy price ( 500cr per ton! usually only 200cr ) at the star port... letting folks just fly around would be bad for their business (racket). But you're spot on. Up to Bob. Was just say'n.
