New Player

Hey guys i am new to the game and i was wondering if anyone could lend a hand to get me started i have watched a few streams i have really gotten into the game. I was hopping someone could help a new player as i have never played 5E and i am new to the site would love to make a group and have a session. With the help of my PH i have made a character i think will work well the hard part is mostly out of the way.

Hi, Luke. &nbsp;Usually, GM's will walk through character creation as part of their game. &nbsp;Outside of organized play (which has fixed rules) GM's typically have their own preferences for how a character should be created, and often times are running a homebrew world where some standard things are a bit different from the official sources. You may want to look through the LFG tool at <a href="https://app.roll20.net/lfg/search/" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/lfg/search/</a> (menu|Games|Join a Game) and filter for games that welcome new players (checkbox option). &nbsp;You may find an upcoming one-off game there with a GM open to helping a new player learn the ropes, that fits your schedule. Thank you for helping yea once i said that i made a character i realized that it may not work into a story and so it was not the best move. thank you for your help though and i do plan on having lots of fun.&nbsp;
