The next time we camp for the day, Emma will approach Bruenor. If he's feeling up to it, knowing he just took a huge beating from that dragon, would he be willing to help her try to figure out what her new long sword can do.
You mean like a sparring session? Assuming Bruenor gets some serious healing he'd be ok with securing sheaths to our weapons so we don't kill each other and training with Emma. Or did you have something else in mind?
I was thinking sparring and trying to activate its power. Before Bruenor took the beating, I'm assuming he's probably the only one who might be able to withstand whatever that power is. Now I'm not as sure. I meant to ask in the beginning of last session but got side tracked. If you don't think he's up to it, I'll try to figure out a different way.
Well being as experienced as I am I think I'd know the folly of 'trying to activate it's power' lol, wouldn't want to find out the hard way it's a sword of 9 lives stealing or something like that. I'd be willing to do a sparring session with covered blades though to determine the difference in ability with the new sword vs your old sword.
