No sounds, music, or mic detection

Hello, I'm not quite sure what's going on but every time any joins my game with me I am unable to hear my jukebox or even internet radio for that matter. Also, I can't seem to get my microphone to be detected. I instead have to talk through Steam which is, a bit annoying. Anyone else having these problems?

Thank you for responding :) But it seems to be working now? I don't know how or why but they suddenly crackled to life. Thank you though.

Sometimes it can be a matter of just shutting down your browser and opening it up again. Especially if you, say, switch between a headset and a set of speakers, sometimes you need to kick the application for it to realize you've changed the audio input/output.
