Looking for a screen to connect to a laptop to display roll20 on.

I'm currently browsing around for a tablet or screen that i can connect to a laptop, preferably through HDMI to use as a second monitor to display roll 20 on for an IRL group around the table. Has anyone done this and if so, have any recommendations for what i could use to do this? I'd like the screen to be as big as possible while still being portable, and am willing to spend up to 800 euros. The players around the table will still use paper character sheets and cardboard/plastic tokens to put down on the display, but I'm considering managing monsters through roll20. thank you!
Pretty much every laptop and TV these days have HDMI ports, so this is very easy to do. It sounds like your latop has an HDMI port, so just pick up any TV or monitor with an HDMI port, plug it in, and it will likely auto display right away. If not, its a quick change to your display settings to have it work. I have a cheap little laptop (about 150 euros) and I can plug it into any of my TVs or computer monitors and in seconds use them as displays.

I am brand new to Roll20 and just working on setting something like this up, so I could have some facts wrong below... There are a lot of screens to choose from and you won't have to spend anywhere close to 800 Euros if you are happy with something up to about 28". If you are considering spending that much, you may wish to use a TV as the monitor to get a really big screen: http://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/by-usage/pc-monit... Once you have the screen, it looks like you will need: 1) a dummy account for the players 2) to log into the dummy account from a different web browser (see correction below). I log into the GM account in Firefox and log into the dummy player account with Chrome. If you do this, you can hide the user interface on Chrome as described on this page: https://wiki.roll20.net/Using_Roll20_while_Playing... and toggle in and out of full screen on Chrome using F11. Good luck. :-) Edit: I was informed in another thread: "You can use the same browser, but if you refresh one window, it will load as the most-recently-logged-in user. You could also use Incognito mode for one of the user accounts."
I agree with Shaun. Buy the largest TV w/ the appropriate port that you feel is 'portable'. Bigger truly is better. Then find something that you can place under it to elevate it off the table just slightly. It works very well. We used to do that until we decided that if we're going to use Roll20, let's just use it completely. Instead of everyone spending the 30-60 minutes driving to meet at one place (that's total, both ways), we stay home and use that time for extra gaming.

If you have a modern tv then get a chromecast dongle and just stream it to your tv. More information here: https://wiki.roll20.net/Using_Roll20_while_Playing_In-Person
The problem with a TV is that It has to be portable, I'll be taking this over to friends to play, I'd love to get a TV inside of a table at home, but thats not the situation I'm in currently, my friends have recently had a baby and prefer to stay home, which is why we play there. So I'd be limited to some sort of tablet, or a TV that fits in the back of a car about the size of a Toyota Aygo and wouldn't overheat when laying on its back.
Then do what Pat said, get a Chromecast. They are cheap, as small as a USB flash drive, and can plug into any TV or monitor with an HDMI port. Why haul around a big TV? You can stream to your Chromecast from your phone, laptop or tablet and the set up is very fast.
If your friend has a coffee table and you want to play sitting around on couches instead of at a dining room table... https://imgur.com/a/bY0Vv https://imgur.com/a/BUBbo https://imgur.com/a/fneKC
