Because RP is very important to me I'd like to start our character creation with the following. While it's alright to think about your build, I don't know exactly how/what is needed for stat builidng. Till then we'll start with the concept. Please reply to this post with the following. Take as much time as you want and feel free to create another thread with questions; I would like to keep this thread uncluttered with anything that is not a concept. Name Age Race Sex Brief Background: Past Adventures: Personality: You Ended Up Here Because ... You're good at?
Thinking about a Rodian bounty hunter. I don't know. Thinking thinking thinking.
WIP: I don't have the rulebook so I was just playing with the char gen and I was surprised to see droid as a race. I'll just throw out the following: Name: H3-R0 Age: 5 Race: Droid Sex: Male Personality Type Background: Partnered with one of the other chars maybe? Or owned by the Hutt but somehow gets thrown in with the group? I haven't decided on what class(career) yet, I'll probably wait for others to pick theirs or someone is willing to give suggestions. Thanks.
Name: Shorurra Age: 38 Race: Wookiee Sex: Male Brief Background: Shorurra was born on the Wookiee homeworld of Kashyyyk but spent very little of his short (by Wookie standards) life on his homeworld. When he was 14 Shorurra’s village was attacked by Trandoshan slavers. The young Wookiee was not handed over to The Empire like most of his brethren but was instead sold to a private owner. He was forced into gladiatorial combat in the illegal arenas of the remote Pacanth Reach. Shorurra was rescued from this life when a gangster by the name of Galen Thorn bought the Wookiee’s freedom, after making a small fortune off Shorurra’s “work”. That was nearly twenty years ago. Shorurra swore a life debt to Thorn and has spent much of his life working as the, now aging, gangster’s primary enforcer. Past Adventures: Before being captured by slavers, Shorurra had already undergone the Test of Ascension, a test of survival in the extremely dangerous Kashyyyian Shadowlands. He spent the next few years fighting for his life in the arena. Shorurra has been involved in a number of adventures in Galen’s employ, all of them occurring in various locales around the Outer Rim. A misunderstanding with some bounty hunters on Ord Mantell, dealings with the Hutts and the Black Sun, and even the occasional spat with Imperial authorities… the usual. Personality: Despite what one might expect from a large Wookie wielding a Vibro-Ax, Shorurra is rather calm. He definitely evaluates a situation before blindly charging into action. However, he does succumb to the famous Wookie rage at times. He values the honorable codes by which he was raised on Kashyyyk. Shorurra also values his companions, willing to go to any lengths to help those he considers friends. You Ended Up Here Because ... Thorn sent me to Tattooine, along with an articulate fellow by the name of Arwen, in order to negotiate a trade deal with Teemo. Unfortunately Arwen ended up as Bantha fodder when we were ambushed by Sandpeople as we made our way to Mos Shuuta from Mos Eisley. Now I find myself lumped in with this lot and on the outs with the Hutt. You're good at? Thanks to my physique and the years in the arena, I’m very deadly with a Vibro-Ax. While I may lack what is commonly referred to as people skills, I can often employ intimidation to get things done nonviolently. I also have some survival skills at my disposal, primarily a result of growing up on Kashyyyk. I’m pretty handy at the guns of a spaceship, due to that being my primary position when accompanying Thorn on his freighter.

Name: UUH-Zero Age:7 Species:Droid Sex: Male Personality Type Brief Background: UUH-Zero is a 2-1B Medical Droid which was issued as part of the ship's equipment on an Imperial medical transport ship. He served a few years uneventfully until a medical emergency involving the wife of a Moff (named Vanko) in charge of a large swathe of the Outer Rim territories. Moff Vanko had long been falsifying financial reports to the Empire to disguise the fact that he was losing a great deal of money to a pirate group operating out of the Maelstrom. So when the transport was captured en route by the pirates, Vanko reported back that it had been destroyed in an asteroid field due to pilot error. As a state-of-the-art piece of machinery, the pirates put him to work. Eventually he was being used on the pirate flagship to administer medical care. If this droid were to end up in Imperial hands, they might have some questions for Moff Vanko. Past Adventures: After years of serving on the pirate flagship, growing more and more quirky over the years with no maintenance, UUH-Zero began to change. He began to dream of escape. After the capture of a ship practically bursting to the seams with cargo, the pirates had to put down and sell some ill-gotten goods. The celebration lasted for days, multiple cases of crewman who had overindulged ended up in UUH-Zero's medical ward. It was then a simple matter for him to tuck a unconscious pirate away in a medical locker, take the pirate's clothes, apply synthskin to his own metallic exterior and escape. It may not have been a great disguise, but everyone was drunk. Since then he's had run-ins, worked in ships and medical clinics on the fringe. Personality: UUH-Zero spent his formative years surrounded by bad people and kept in a small room. With no memory wipes a droid will start acting... funny. UUH-Zero is obsessed with gaining humanity, at some times he is convinced that he himself was a real, organic human who has complete cybernetics. His hazy years, before the capture he remembers being in a medical transport and then being locked in a pirate ship. Was he a patient who underwent a horrible accident? There will be times when he insists that he's hungry or tired. Sometimes the pirates would vent the atmosphere out of UUH-Zero's tiny medical ward so they could laugh at him pounding on the door insisting that he's dying, making pitiful choking noises with his vocabulator. Since he got away, he has always wanted to help those in need because of his programming, but he is a bragger and a liar. He's worked a lot of places under false pretenses and betrayed and escaped "partners" he's had who've tried to get his memory wiped. You ended up here because: UUH-Zero will be on the run because servants of Teemo the Hutt they will discover that the man leasing a medical droid to them doesn't exist. They will certainly try to capture the ownerless droid and give him a good memory wipe. You're Good At: UUH-Zero has come a long way since fooling a ship of drunk pirates. He is deceptive and a pretty good negotiator. His original programming makes him an excellent surgeon, doctor, or medic. When serving the pirates he ended up accessing a lot of the educational material that came through the ship so he's knowledgeable about a lot of subjects. He would often curl up with a datapad and read during ship battles, before the wounded would start to pour in so he knows how to keep his cool. EDIT: I can adjust the "You ended up here because" part, since I'm not familiar with the module. PM me and let me know what's up.
Zhar’Taa Age: 42 Race Twi’lek Sex: Male Light purple skin Brief background & past adventures After supporting the losing side in the Clone Wars, Zhar was left destitute and friendless. He drifted for a while in the Outer Rim doing odd jobs here and there and barely making ends meet. While working as a go between for a minor cartel on Sernpidal he had a chance meeting with a mysterious alien of a race he was unfamiliar with who acquainted him with “The Way”, a religious cult devoted to Haarla. He quickly became a devotee, was taught in the beliefs of “The Way” and sent to spread the Word among all the unbelievers in order to prepare them for the coming conflict that will soon engulf the galaxy. Personality Zhar is dedicated to his new religion and is determined to preach “The Way” to all who will listen. He is a bit gruff and at times he can appear cynical, but that is mostly due to his history (pre-conversion).He tries to uphold the virtues of his new beliefs the best he can, but sometimes his cynical side slips through. You ended up here because… Zhar arrived on Tatooine knowing that due to its isolation in the Outer Rim and the influence the corrupt Hutts have over the planet, it would be a good place to preach some hope into the minds of the downtrodden.Mos Shuuta is just one stop in his travels on Tatooine. However, Zhar ran afoul of Teemo when he tried to convert Teemo’s favorite dancer You are good at? Anything involving social interaction.Bad at everything else.
Rhorhik Rhokaz Age: 25 Height: 5' 3' Weight: 100 lbs Background: System Rhokaz was named after the small and nimble darkblue-fured humanoïd species inhabiting its third planet. When the system was discovered in the outer rim a few decades ago, the Rhokaz were of an iron age, tribal society. Natural resources were of low interest, and the inhabitants never had much contact with the rest of the galaxy, except for a group of pirates who installed a secret base of operations somewhere in the jungles. Rhorhik always felt different. He always got clues about what people felt, or even sometimes he could feel their surface thoughts. He could sense the presence of live beings moving around even with his eyes closed. While he was young, he never thought to hide it; when he grew older it was too late: he was considered a freak by most of his tribe. Rhokaz society is one of endless vendettas between tribes, and rivalry inside. His bethren were always fighting, enjoying the suffering they inflicted as they slaughtered each other. On the contrary, it was very hard for him to bear the intense despair he could feel in his victims. Nevertheless, sometimes anger overcame him. And when he did, he felt that dark sensation slowly creeping up along his spine. And his reluctance to act was understood as weakness. So one day, he decided he didn’t belong there. He gathered a few things and crept inside a pirate ship, hoping he would find a nicer place somewhere in the galaxy. Past adventures: Pirates found him hiding in the cargo hold and for a time he operated with them for a time. He got a general grasp of advanced technology but is still generally more at home with simple gear. Personnality: Rhorhik is used to hanging among strangers or untrustable people and is not very talkative. In the better of times, he is somewhat laconic, as he never fully mastered basic (not that he really cares to) and tends to use short sentences with approximative grammar, using third person for himself or others. Typical quote: "Guy give credits, guy live". Perhaps if one day he feels he really belongs somewhere, he will open up and show more of himself. He is eager to make friends and find a group of individuals he would belong to. The family he never had. Ended up here because: Treason is quite common pirates and one day he was sold to Teemo le Hutt as a gladiator. Good at: Swashbuckling Protecting his friends / family (as soon as he gets any)
