Pittsburgh. Survival-Horror, not neccesarily Zombies. Rules: All Flesh Must Be Eaten. Fri 13 Dec 4PM EST Roll20 +Skype

Modern Day. An Alternate Future. 13 December, 2013. You have traveled to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for the holiday. Whether to visit family, friends, to see a football game, or home on leave from the military, there you are, stuck in traffic inside the Fort Pitt Tunnel, Outbound, in rush hour traffic at sunset. Trying to get to family, friends, or a date, and warmth. It is 20 Degees, F outside. Thick Snow is falling, but you have your Donut Connection coffee, and you're listening to the local classic rock station, WDVE 102.5, when you hear the Emergency Broadcast System Test... Not sure if this will be zombie plague or alien Invasion or what. Might be some sort of nuclear exchange. Not sure yet what causes it, or the effects. Still working on it. More as I invent. Rules: All Flesh Must be Eaten. I have the real books. No, I do not have a Free .pdf I've lived here my whole life. I've worked on a crew that shot a feature length zombie movie, this summer. Seeking 6 Mature players . No power gamers, or martinets. No wanna-be Serial Killers. Over a series of scenarios, this campaign will cover: - The precipitating event - The panic - The hoarding - The collapse - The bunkering vs. nomading strategy Every Week, Starting 12 Dec, 2013. If you have to skip a session or two, I get it. Please notify me in advance with block-out dates if you have them. Roll20 plus Skype 4P-8P EST. No, I will not change the time. I will be pretty free with character concepts. Some will be pushy, aggressive, etc. But keep the role clear. If someone becomes an obnoxious jerk "As a Player", I will fire them from the player base, and move on with the rest. Dark, Grim and Gritty. Lots of tough choices to be made. Save a bullet for yourself kind of stuff. Not really a social experiment, but going for a new strategy here, that I have not seen: If you lose two characters, I open your slot up to someone else. If it comes to a point where all current, active players are on their second character, I'll close recruiting. Once the last character of the last player gets killed, we'll wrap it up and call it done. Comment here with questions, a character type or some notes on what might work for you as an application, don't worry about game mechanics.
That's sound very interesting. Always love setting with penalty. It will be even better to start early, lol

I would love to play in your campaign. Count me in! I have everything released for All Flesh Must Be Eaten in pdf and don't mind sharing if we become friends and it works out. I'm open for playing any archetype/class as needed by the group. If given a choice I would most likely play a cop/detective/private investigator type or maybe a reporter/journalist.
That's Two. Link to server sent via PM. I'll put out some info in a few days.
James J. said: No, I do not have a Free .pdf I do! <a href="http://www.edenstudios.net/images/afmbedemokit.pdf" rel="nofollow">http://www.edenstudios.net/images/afmbedemokit.pdf</a> Pages 8 to 12 have most of the necessary rules as long as you walk them through character creation.
Yeah, Thank you. I am a fan of their site. That does help. I posted what I did because I have the books. I paid cash for the real books. I'm a writer, so it's an issue. I hate when some person who doesn't feel like spending a dime or searching on their own before they join, pops up to apply. They do not say, "Oh what characters are available?" Or, "What is the setting like?" Many type six words: "Link to free Core Rules .PDF?" Burns me up. So thank you, that's the demokit. I appreciate it, and the help.
Emma K. wishes to connect with the other players on Skype, to work out balanced character concepts and no or little duplication of major skills. Emma has suggested portrayal of a college girl who is home from the US Air Force Academy in her senior year, so age about 22, with a car, some gear, and a dual major in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
I probably playing a Asian character on his vacation when the story begin. He will be a programmer OR some sort of martial artist, or maybe a gangster
Getting some flavor here: I am using AFMBE Revised 8th printing, copyright 2009. I will generate a selection of pre-generated characters, with suggested skills, qualities, drawbacks, and backstory, that will fit the planned game campaign. They may or may not fit within the following Player Generation Guidelines. Archetypical Ready-to-go characters that will be permitted aside from the ones I will generate will be: P 68 - P 79, All Either Survivor or Norm, your choice, (I will list these eventually for those without books) EXCEPT : No "Inspired" If Players want to generate their own characters, here are the guidelines: Characters can be the more accomplished Survivors level: Please note: Not using the optional skill points system on P. 29 20 points for attributes (No attribute = 6) 15 points for qualities up to 10 points in drawbacks 35 points for skills All of the Type skills are broken out seperately. For now. Might change as I get some more depth with this.

Hello! I'm EmmaKendrick and I've finished my character with James, if anyone would like to discuss the game further with me on skype, just PM me your skype information.
The end result of "Survivor Level" Stats, attributes, and skills is that characters are about halfway between comic book heroes and "Normal" people. They have enough juice to survive, show up others, and do some damage to zombies, unless they make bad choices, or get really unlucky. I will be listing the overview of the characters from various books, and those I will generate. .
Still working on this. My cat has needed lots of care. Vet thinks she might have mouth cancer. Dealing with that. but will post in a few hours.
Any chance of dropping in, dont know the system, dont have the books (that can change probably), but full of beans.
yes surely observe or play it's a really simple system.

The group is filling up fast. We need a primary Character, and a backup character for each player, so that in case one gets killed off, we have the other one done. Here's the player list so far: Mark H. - 1) Sergeant, Pittsburgh Police & 2) Reporter, Channel 8 (Yeah it's fictional) News. Lap Ho - 1) Computer Grad student from Carnegie Mellon University & 2) Asian? Gangster / Martial Artist Ade Sant - 1) Aging British Rock Star with a helicopter and babes on each arm 2) British Bank President with Tweed Jacket and Bow Tie. Ryan L. - 1) Julian "the Needle" Moretti, Ex-Mafia Torpedo 2) Ex-Cop, Private Detective Brandon C. - 1) US Army CPL, ex-infantry signal. 2) Bruce the disgruntaled chainsaw welding walmart employee. Liam 1) Sketchy UK Paparazzi, following the Rock Star 2) Need a concept, (either pre-gen, you write it or I do.) I'm converting the above that are done to electronic character sheets. Over time, I will make them into in-game templates. Also, I'll have players take a look at What I've done, and if they want changes per-game we can change up whatever. Anyone else interested, please contact GM.
