Loving Jesus

We do things or don't do things because we love God and each other. Out of our love for God flows love for each other. Romans 14:13-23 ESV when Jesus talked about dying to ourselves, it took me a long time to to understand what he meant. What He was talking about. He was talking about saying no to my selfishness and self -centeredness. (Luke 9:23-25.). He helps me come one out of myself to love others.

Matthew 6:33 33 Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. This verse is slightly out of context but I think it fits in that, if we daily seek first the Kingdom of Heaven then we have already begun the day shedding the trappings of our old life in favor of the new life Jesus has given to us.
