Gekitai is his Vigilante identity, which is likely how he'll represent himself for the majority of the campaign unless he is away from the rest of the party for some reason. As a side note,he is of Tian-Min heritage if that matters to PCs/the campaign, although he is still quite obviously half elf.  EDIT: On the off-chance I do end up making the cut, what sort of macros should I be setting up? I'm very new to Roll20 so this system is rather bizarre to me. 

Hey Brendan a token is needed.  But you can Google and search for a pic that you like and attach it to the forum. If you get on Discord early me or somebody will be more then happy to explain roll20.  You can also YouTube it for more information as well as macros
