Hello, I am running a long term Pathfinder game and am looking for 1 or 2 players for it. Here are the details from the game. The adventurers wake up with almost no memory and must find their way, as well as their answers... Notes: Character Creation : -No Gunslingers or Kitsune. -Character's are currently level 8 (You'll be starting at that level too) -XP Progression: Medium -Dice Roll for stat block (4d6k3r1) -HP at level 1 is max. For each level after it's rolled as normal. There is a house rule that if you don't like your roll, you can roll again, but you have to take the second roll. For example, if you roll a 3 and decide to reroll and you get a 1, you gain 1 max HP. -Your character has the last year of their life missing from their memory. It's just the short term amnesia effecting them, they still remember their name, home, friends, etcetera. -Newcomers start with gold based off of the 'NPC Basic' table from Character advancement. That means you start with 6,000 gp. This isn't some low gold campaign, but it's not fair to the other players for a fresh new face to start with a giant wad of cash while they had to earn it. Current party makeup : Summoner (Psuedo front liner) Skald (New player) Cleric (Archer Cleric) About the game : -Has been going since 08/22/2015. -Features custom made maps created tile-by-tile, a homebrewed story, and a grand scale plot line. -DMing is done by text. You're free to use voice communications with fellow players, but the DM types everything. -Game runs from 11 AM to 3 PM MST every Sunday. What we need from you : - Attendance . This is the biggest one and perhaps the most crucial. I can work with you on anything else, but if you don't show up, there's little I can do. PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP TO THE GAME IF YOU DON'T THINK YOU CAN MAKE THIS REGULARLY. Everyone is invested in this game, and we ask the same of you. - Participation : While not AS importance as attendance, it's still very important. Just showing up to the game and being idle for most of the session does nothing to add to it, both for you or your fellow players. Of course we don't expect you to have a quip or comeback to every little thing said, but if we have to constantly say your name to get your attention, it becomes obvious that you just don't want to be here. - Communication : This is a small one, but if you want something changed or you're not having fun, please let me know. It's especially helpful if you let me know what I can do to help that, but even just letting me know you're not that engaged is a big help. I can't make it better for you if I don't know what i'm doing wrong. - The Ability to Not Over Optimize : Normally I wouldn't put this, but every time I recruit there's always this one person. This game's difficulty rating is likely a 4 or 5 out of 10, so this isn't some beast game that your characters will die at any second. They can die, but only if stupid choices are made, and even then, there may be ways out of it still (I.E. piss off the giant orc boss and he'll normally kill you, but maybe if you lay down your weapons and try some diplomacy, he might reconsider). That said, there's no reason to trivialize it further, and I won't let my hard work, nor everyone else's enjoyment be wasted on someone who sees tabletop gaming as just stat blocks on spreadsheets with 0 character development. For players joining, I'm asking them to submit their character sheet to me at least 2 days in advance so I can go over it and make sure we're on the same page with this. This doesn't mean don't make a strong or enjoyable character, but I won't tolerate over optimization. Please message me or reply to this post and I will consider you for the game. I look forward to hearing from you!
