Necro I know, but I solved a problem I had with recording and thought it might be useful. The problem is how to record from a player perspective as the GM. This works in Win 7 and Chrome. Not sure about other browsers/Win 8. Prep: Create a second account on Roll20. Mine is "Cameraman Joe." Have Aero turned on. This allows you to window capture without having other windows come in over the top of your stream. Execute: Log into your campaign as yourself (GM account). Open an incognito window (not just a tab). Join the campaign using the player link in that window and log in as your dummy character. Do not click on any other windows once you have your dummy guy as the front window. Start OBS and set it to Window Capture. Set it to capture your browser, which will probably be named "Campaign"|Roll20 or somesuch. Check your preview stream. You should be looking at your dummy in the incognito window. If you clicked o your normal window before you did this, you'll be looking at your GM window instead. Stop the stream, reselect your dummy window, and restart to check. Once you're satisfied, stop previewing and start recording or streaming. Now you can bring your GM window to the front and work in that, but don't minimize or resize your dummy window or your stream will be affected. If you need to move the camera around for the stream, shift-click drag all your players or just move the dummy map around as you need to. Edit: Obviously it's better to just have a player do this if possible. Less bandwidth, and I don't like seeing "Cameraman Joe" in my player list. :P
