edit- did I delete this or did a mod? The game is actually a MLP rpg. Anyway I'm mildly curious as to it's nature.
I have not. What's it like?
I have not, but am interested if anyone else is.
wasn't really expecting to get any replies, here's the site for anyone interested http://www.roleplayingismagic.com/

Oh god... Really sorry but I am going to look for a hill to hide behind. Best of luck with your game, buuuuuut in my case, Brony stuff is not my cup of tea....... like..... at all. So... Good luck... Bye!
If someone who's played it wants to give a rundown on the feel of the game, I'd be interested. Don't really feel like slogging through that somewhat site. If it was a regular pdf style system than sure.
I don't have anything to add to the conversation, other than I'm still interested. If more seasoned players are open to a newbie tagging along, I'd be interested in playing. Sorry I can't be of more use. Despite being interested in this game for quite some time now, I have yet to read through the website.

I could organize and summarize the relevant mechanics and character creation if anyone cares

Hmm... Scheduling for me would probably be impossible, but if you plan on running this thing as a one-shot at a time that fits my odd schedule I could give the game another shot for old times sake. I will note that the last time I played the game was something like 6 years ago, and I thought that it was an acceptable game from 2 sessions of experience.(to clarify, it wasn't terrible but it wasn't amazing)
The system leaves a lot to be desired, and I'm in no position to DM anything. I'm still working on modifying it to actually be a complete ruleset.

Ah, well if you are just looking for an MLP themed game there are a number of other options that may work better for you. Like to just list a few that may work better: Ponyfinder (Pathfinder), Roan (Custom System), Savage Worlds of MLP (Savage Worlds), Zargon's Post-it MLP Conversion(Fate Accelerated, you would need to ask me to actually type that up), or if you wait a week there is also Tails of Equestria (Officially licensed, custom system)

I saw Tails of Equestria on the shelf at me FLGS yesterday. Not my cup of tea, just thought info could be useful.

The number of systems is too damn high
Tails of Equestria is an extremely simplified system. I never played Roleplaying is Magic, but I have played a lot of Savage World of My Little Pony.

Yeah, to just go through the list from the one I am least familiar with to the most familiar: Roan: WWI-Pony theme crossover, I have never played it, though one of my former players says it is good, though he is one of the writers of it. Roleplaying is Magic - Very loosely defined, trait based game. I only briefly played the game during its playtesting for the second set I think. Ponyfinder - I played the really old-school version that is pretty much just additional Pathfinder races for awhile. I have most of the actually published Ponyfinder books since I bought them from the author at a convention, though I never played a game with them. Tails of Equestria - An extremely simple officially licensed game aimed at kids. For the most part it is a die size based skill system with exploding dice resulting in progressively larger dice being rolled. Savage Worlds of MLP - A pretty good system as long as you are sufficiently good at GMing to bypass the glaring issues in the Savage Worlds core rules. I have GMed it once, and play tested it in two campaigns. Zargon's Post-it MLP Conversion - A more or less direct conversion of Fate Accelerated for MLP that I wrote that fits on a Post-it note.
There is also "Pony Tales: Aspirations of Harmony" I'd love to play an MLP campaign in any system, if you'd have me.
