Heads up on future plans for Jukebox?

I really like making soundscapes for my games, and I tend to be the sound guy in most situations when other friends are hosting. But I wanted to ask what you guys plan to do with the Jukebox? I would like to be able to customize what plays when a lot more. I can play a playlist when someone enters a map, but I can't play a specific sound file and a music playlist at the same time. Say I want to have the players enter a town and there is a looping sound effect for the town itself (Sheep, people talking, crowds), but I also want to have some music in there as well. A nice chillout Kevin mac leod playlist in the background would really increase the immersion I feel. As for any other plans I would like to hear what you are going to do with it, its a really great tool and I use it constantly.

Hi, Lucas E. I can play a playlist when someone enters a map, but I can't play a specific sound file and a music playlist at the same time. Check out this post from Dev Kristin, which directly addresses this issue: I have included this issue in our collection of refinement tickets for current features as I understand the need for being able to play tracks outside of playlists. I don't know where this will be on our timeline to address. Development resources has been stretched to the maxium for a while now. Our community has grown in leaps and bounds to the point where we need to increase the size of our development team to compensate. That's why we're currently in a hiring spree to add more hands to address everyone's needs. In the meantime, as a workaround, you may be able to use the  All at Once feature to take care of your needs. Say I want to have the players enter a town and there is a looping sound effect for the town itself (Sheep, people talking, crowds), but I also want to have some music in there as well. First, add all background sound effects and one single music track to one playlist. Then, set each track in the playlist to loop. Then, play that playlist All At Once. I hope this helps!
