Gay group of 4 to 5 players looking for a DM for Dnd3.5

We are a small group of guys(gay) from around the world that is looking for a gay friendly dm to run a weekly dnd 3.5 campaign. Some of us haven't played in awhile but will pick it up quickly again I am sure. One may be joining that doesn't know how to play. We are all casual easy going players. Want a knowledgable dm that knows how to create good stories and material. Hit me up if you are interested. Thanks!

Matthew J., Pathfinder is close enough to 3.5 that you may want to consider a GM using Pathfinder as a possibility. The rules are free on the Paizo PRD or the d20pfsrd.

I have cleaned up this thread since most of the conversation was off-topic and not constructive. In the future, if you are not contributing to the purpose of the thread and not adding something constructive to it please keep it to yourself.

I might actually be able to offer a 3.5 game... I'll get back to you later with a definite answer once i have done some checking up on my schedule... Just need to know: What Timezone are we actually talking about here?

What kind of game are you looking for Matthew? Open world or more of a specific plot driven setting? What do you like to be your split between RP and combat? And as Donovan mentioned, what time zone and days of the week are you hoping to play?

Donovan and Zerocaliber - Its kind of a mix of time zones as we are from all over - 1 from New Zealand(NZDT), 1 from Brazil(ART), 1 from Ireland(GMT), and I am from the USA(PST). We would like a game during week sometime. There is a tentative time situation - if the guy in Ireland gets the job he is interviewing for today than it would need to be held in the evening Dublin time(GMT). Tuesday nights (PST) are out as I have prior obligations. If we start before Dec 6th, we may need to have the first session on the weekend. After Dec. 6th then we would be able to move to the week. I know its a lot to put together, but if you want to do it, than this would be the setup. Thanks for your interest! :) Zerocaliber - As far as story goes, I think we would want more of an open map - plot driven setting? haha. I know that doesn't help, but I think a central plot is good to be guided along and more intriguing - with the option to branch off temporarily because there is a "looming cave" or a few "known dungeons in the area" that are off the plot path to go raid. But I think a story is important. I think the guys like action but wouldn't mind some RP too. So I am going to set the bar tentatively to 70/30 whereas 70 would represent hacking and slashing loot grinding battles and the 30 would be in town arguing with the local drunks (give or take 10 percent depending on how the group shapes up). I hope that helps.

I wouldn't be the GM you seek then, sorry... good luck finding a GM tho'. Though, maybe Zerocaliber might be the GM you seek? *shrugs*

Cmonk4u , you might want to try the Kingmaker adventure path for Pathfinder. It is a sandbox adventure where you build up a kingdom. No shortage of Roleplay if you want it and also no shortage of combat if you want that.

Hmm...Dublin evenings would be possible for me on Saturday or Sunday, but I need to find out what my other group is doing before I commit to anything on the weekends since I am not sure what day my friends want to play. Also, Cmonk, I had a bit to much to drink last night and was a bit to philosophical and wired up from debating with some of my law buddies, so my bad. ;P I might be able to squeeze something in on mondays, but I can only keep that going for a couple of months until the next semester starts. I like to have a decent amount of RP when I DM and not every situation is solvable by fighting. I also can and do put things in the campaign meant to kill your characters, so nobody should assume that if you can fight it, it is winnable.

HI, if your are not dead set on playing D&D (which i dont run) i would be willing to offer a game. Somewhat intrigued by running a game for a group of all gay players (and yes, gay guy myself).

It is a shame you are just interested play D&D 3.5 I really could run other games for your group. Are you just interested in fantasy games?
