Absolutely cannot align map to grid no matter what

I really need some advice because I'm going to pull my eyes out at this rate. I've tried absolutely all the tricks at the stickied post on the top of this forum but I cannot get this map to align throughout. Even if I can get an area in the center to align nicely like this: It simply doesn't stick throughout, especially on the vertical axis. Fixing the border of the map misaligns the center and vice versa. I thought the map might be warped but I've measured the grid in photoshop and it seems even throughout. Anyone have any ideas? I've been at this for 2 hours now.
It can only be that the grid sizes are very slightly different.  Measure 10 or more grids for more accuracy.  This, though, is why I use Hex grids!

You might be onto something, but even if you're right, that's only a difference of about 3-4 pixels every 10 tiles. Assuming that is the case, what are my options here? I've been dicking around with changing the height on the set dimensions for ages and it doesn't make a difference.
If you measure the two and then resize the image.  I always do the maths in the chat with a whisper of [[actual width*scaling calc]] [[actual height*scaling calc]] to get the new figures.  Always scale height and width the same unless you need to chang the ratio [I know this is probably obvious...just in case].
This is the LMoP map, right? I have checked the version in my game, which I bought as a module, and it is more or less accurately aligned. I'm in the process of importing maps, bought from Mike Schley's website, for Curse of Strahd. This is the process I follow (for the Wachterhaus map, for example): Open the map in photoshop and determine the image size (in this case 7273 x 10000px) Use the measure tool to measure across as many squares as I can at a reasonable zoom (in this case I managed 20 squares and got a result of 229px per unit) Determine the image size in units (7273/229=31,75 units and 10000/229=52,08 units) In Roll20, create a page slightly larger than the map (say 35 x 55 units) Upload the map and then import it into the new page Right click and set image as drawing Right click and resize the map to 31,75 x 52,08 units Center the middle of the map to align with the middle of the grid on the page By now the map is almost perfectly aligned to the grid Drag the handles on the top of the map to either pull or push the grid on the map until it aligns with the page grid Do the same for the handles on the bottom of the map Do the same for the handles on the left side of the map Do the same for the handles on the right side of the map By now the map is perfectly aligned with the grid Hold alt and drag the top left corner of the map slightly off the page, with the grid on the map aligned to the grid on the page Resize the page to remove the empty white spaces to the right and the bottom I hope this helps you.
Alright, after something like 2-3 hours I finally fixed it. I ended up multiplying the dimensions by 10, aligning the grid, and then editing the dimension down to the pixel, and it's STILL not perfect, but at this size it's not obvious. Hope this thread helps someone else in the future.
Glad you got it fixed :)

Also, once you have it close, turn the opacity of the grid down to zero. Players won't likely notice that their tokens don't precisely line up.

I've  aligned this map and it's a tough one because it's so big. I'm glad you got it sorted out! In case you run into this issue again, I find it helpful to set the map to "is drawing" and move the map so that the top left square is lined up with the grid as closely as possible. Then I align the horizontal lines by stretching the map at the right side. I usually have to realign the top left square a couple of times while I do this. Once the vertical lines match up, I align the top left square and then drag the bottom down to align the horizontal lines using the same process.
The roll20 tool for aligning the grid is good for small maps, but for large maps it's just a starting point. Here is my system: Use the built-in Roll20 method to get the map close. Line up the top-left corner of a square in the upper left portion of the map with the Roll20 grid. Increase, or decrease, the width of the map graphic to get it closer to the grid using the Advanced >> Set Dimensions tool.  Note:  Remember that each unit is 70 pixels.  So use an estimate of how far off your grid is to the map grid to figure out how much to reduce the image by.  (So if your grid is off by the amount in your pics above, start by decreasing the height by 5 pixels.) Repeat step 2-3 until the grid is as close as you can get to the Roll20 grid. Repeat steps 2-4 for the vertical axis. Happy Rolling! Edit:  Formatting
