Best way to handle duel wielding in Star Wars WEG 2nd edition?

I am currently running a Star Wars WEG 2nd edition Revised and Expanded campaign and I don't recall seeing anywhere specifically in the rules of how to handle dual wielding. Is there a penalty to the first attack with the second weapon that round? If there isn't an official rule, how do you normally handle it and what do you think would be the best way to handle dual wielding?
also, sorry about the typo in the topic title

It would follow the same rules as taking extra actions so -1D per extra action taken
The only thing about that is that approach seems to make there not be much of a reason to dual-wield, unless I'm missing something.
There is no reason to dual wield other than having the potential to use two different weapons to attack as part of a multi-action turn. I should also mention that I am basing this on the rules presented in the Revised and Expanded corebook, can't remember what the rules are for basic 2nd edition. IF you are using the revised and expanded edition then yeah there is no benefit to dual wielding other than having the option to use two different weapons.
Alright, I'll keep that in mind
