Noobiest of noobs looking for a group to play D&D with.

Greetings all, So I've never played D&D or any other similar games before but I've watched some streams on D&D and what not and I love the role playing side of it and I want to find a group that I could join. I enjoy story telling and on the spot role playing so I know this would be fun I just don't know anything about the game really. If any groups would like to take in a fledgling like myself I would grateful. Location: Western USA availability: all the time except Tuesday and Thursday, morning or like after 7 (western) or so would probably be best time

What time zone do you live in? what is your availability during the week or weekends? There are people here running games from around the world. Are you looking for just D&D? What edition? 5th is the most current. Are you willing to try other games, other fantasy, other genres? etc. I am part of a Discord voice app server. We use that for voice while we play the games via roll20. We have a lot of helpful mods and one shot games where you can be taught the basics. We are currently expanding our games with a huge variety of systems including dnd 5e, savage worlds etc. I run super gritty realistic science fiction and science fiction horror. Others run Cypher system or Numenera, etc. Welcome to roll20.

I changed the first post a bit, basically I don't really care what game as long its the same rpg role play sorta deal. I'm in Western USA right now and Im Generally very available. I do have discord also, so if your up for having me you can PM me and we can talk further.

i would do a one shot  game with you looking to learn the site but would prefer 2nd e core rules with player options
