Revisit of Fog of War bug leaving rectangular outline when hiding

I am experience an issue where upon using the Hide Area tool the outline of the selection is visible to players. There is a thread regarding this issue here: <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/2908398/slug%7D" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/2908398/slug%7D</a> but has been closed. Has this been fixed or am I misusing something?
